For some reason, Brad Turner reminds me of Johnny Cage (probably the sunglasses, but also might be the celebrity bad-boy thing). Now if we could just have a cross-over of MASK and Mortal Kombat, that would (literally) be kick-ass! (At least both series have the same scores for spelling.)

H2Obsession He’s pretty stoic and non-emotional. He’s more robotic than T-Bob! Still, I always loved Condor because of the cross between motorcycle and helicopter, and it was my first M.A.S.K. toy but gah... that outfit and buggy-eye mask.. 😖

I’d say he’s as strict as possible with Scott (let alone with T-Bob), when it’s enough for Matt to say no to them, when they want to join him on his missions (let alone for other members of MASK, like Alex Sector, to always concur with Matt, that Scott and T-Bob aren’t to be joining him on his missions). Matt only tells them not to join him on his missions because he’s aware how dangerous they are, especially when they’re always the doing of VENOM. Heck, even after Scott (and possibly T-Bob) got Hondo injured, in ‘the Deathstone’ (and Scott even came clean that he was to blame, in other words, it was his fault, that Hondo got hurt), he never seems to learn from how that’s what happens, if and when him and T-Bob join the former’s dad on his missions (where, in following episodes, he asks his dad again, if him, and T-Bob, can join him on his missions, only for Scott and T-Bob to get the same response from Matt). It’s only because Scott’s still like new to the world, and still doesn’t know better, that he thinks his dad’s missions will be fun (and where he thinks his dad wants him to miss it all), when, in reality, Matt Trakker loves Scott (let alone T-Bob), and would hate anything bad to happen to them - that’s the real reason he never wants them joining him on his missions.

@@michaelweech6432 Somehow I don't think Matt does a good enough job as a father. Let alone as an adoptive father. And just because Scott is young doesn't excuse his behavior. He's an obnoxious brat. Kids like him need to be disciplined thoroughly. I think Matt should slap Scott a few times Bright Noa style. It could do him some good.

What in the world ever possessed Matt Tracker to adopt Scott as his son? The kid is always with him, yet needs to stay out of the way when a mission arises. Matt should have left him at the orphanage considering he is in such a spontaneous and dangerous line of work. Have you considered boarding school for Scott? This kid never seems to be in school EVER!!! Is Scott being homeschooled? Ok, I've vented enough.

considering that scott built T-Bob I think that scott has already graduated college heck maybe even helped create the MASK Vehicles. that said i think he may have been in a think tank where they did not teach him basic life lessons and unfortunately matt is an inexperienced father who really needs help in how to raise his son or at the very least needs to be better at leaving him in places where scott won't get into trouble

I know EXACTLY what you mean - every time Matt tells his son (and T-Bob) to stay away from the missions he goes on, against VENOM, Scott never has the sense to know that his dad's only looking out for him. If Alex Sector told Scott (and T-Bob) not to go on these missions (or, say Leoric told Scott and T-Bob not to go near the missions he and the other five male Spectral Knights were going on, against the Darkling Lords), I'm curious what Scott (and even T-Bob) would do *then*. Yes, I'm aware Matt Trakker even *adopted* Scott (since Matt Trakker's a bachelor) [and I'm aware how T-Bob came into the show - Scott made him, at school]. Scott was possibly orphaned (hence Matt Trakker *had to* adopt him, even if it meant Scott was going to be trouble) [since Scott, as I reiterate, made T-Bob, at school, Matt - who was going to be Scott's new dad - would have *had* to let Scott bring his new, robotic friend, with him, even if, again, T-Bob was going to be trouble]. I still imagine, before Matt Trakker adopting Scott (as well as T-Bob), the MASK leader living with a landlord (before he even formed MASK). Oh, and when I think about the best (most iconic) 80s cartoons, I'm curious what Teela (from MOTU) and Cheetara (from ThunderCats) would have thought of Scott (and, of course, T-Bob) [other examples of excellent 80s cartoons are 'SuperTed' and 'Fantastic Max', and, from the 90s - 'James Bond Jr.'; it's such a good thing that the 80s Hasbro 3 3/4 G.I. Joe toy line made it through to the early 90s]. I'm aware, in the video to the episode 'Eyes of the Skull', since someone mentioned a Capcom video game franchise, I said about my three favourite 'Street Fighter' video games (EX Plus Alpha, Alpha 3 and EX 2 - all three which I had on the original, late 90s, Sony PS console, hence all three were on discs - not cartridges) [and the PS is a Sony console, not a Nintendo console].

Yes, it's a wonder the opening sequence has Hondo's Hurricane mask (rather than his Firecracker mask). I'm aware I had to answer your question, but, without offence, you know Hondo isn't one of my favourite characters in this.

Yes, Matt should boom at Scott (as well as T-Bob) 'SCOTT! YOU AND T-BOB SHOULD HAVE OBEYED ME WHEN I TOLD YOU NOT TO JOIN ME ON MY MISSIONS! As I keep reiterating, as Scott's dad, he's only *looking out for* Scott, when telling him (as well as T-Bob) to stay out of his dad's missions (where, as his dad, he'd hate for anything bad to happen to Scott - his son, as well as anything bad happening to T-Bob). At least Visionaries was safe from stuff like this (in that it never had characters as annoying as Scott and T-Bob). At the end of the day, Matt Trakker *is* a caring sort of dad (even if he's a bachelor, hence adopting was how he got Scott). Really, he *loves* Scott (hence he's justified in getting furious if and when he finds Scott joining him on his missions).

@@shermanvermin76 It's probably because Scott ends up in MORE danger when he obeys Matt than when he doesn't. If he sneaks along on the mission, he might get captured. If he actually tries to stay out of the way, he nearly gets killed. Not a good way to reinforce obedience... Matt could split the difference and build Scott a MASK combat suit, and have him train himself away from the active mission. "You can help me by making sure you become the best MASK agent you can be. Not every agent goes on every mission." At least then if VENOM finds Scott, he has a greater chance of survival, and Scott might even develop into a less annoying kid. But then again, that would make sense, and Scott wouldn't fill the "less annoying kid" requirement.
