Hi，love this amazing tutorial! In the final rendering, I found the surface edge seem smoothier than the grasshopper one. Did you blend surface or did anything? Thanks!

It's been quite long time so I do not remember well but you may try subdivision or in Blender3D, you can just apply shade smooth(just select model - mouse right click - shade smooth)
