Berlin School music originated in the 1970s, characterized by its pulsating rhythms, hypnotic melodies, and atmospheric soundscapes. "M.E." captures the essence of this genre, providing an electrifying experience you don't want to miss.
Hi! My name is Caught In Joy and I just wanted to welcome you to my electronic music live performances, where I try to capture the joy of playing analog / modular synthesizers with guitar pedals for ambience and effects. All my recent songs are fully improvised and performed "dawless".

The only music during which I can write code efficiently. I have ADHD somehow those rhythms and harmonics help me focus. To make it even weirder, my little son probably inherited it from me and this music can also calm him down. Thank you!

This is beyond words! A true masterpiece! I have been an electronic music addict since the late 1960s when I first heard Jimi Hendrix's¹ Third Stone from the Sun. I have always wanted to create music but unfortunately it is not a talent I possess. On the bright side, I do have a type of synethstesia that allows me to "see sound" which is one major reason I like electronic music so much - to me it "looks" fantastic! ¹It is interesting to note that Jimi Hendrix was a friend of Edgar Froese, founding member of Tnagerine Dream, and Froese built a lot of the electronic gizmos Hendrix used with his guitars.

@@CaughtInJoy -Thanks for the encouragement! I have another really fun story about electronic music. In 1977 I was working for Control Data Corporation in Minnesota. Usually after work several of the engineers would go to a tiny bar across the street and I discovered that all the really creative engineering work got done there, on napkins. Alcohol apparently helped. Anyway, the this bar always had the obligatory musician for live music. One time they hired a guy who played an elaborate synthesizer. Given my addiction to electronic music, we became good friends for several years before he became famous and moved away. His name was Yanni. He was a psych student at the University of Minnesota but he told me he really did not enjoy that field of study. All he really wanted to do was create and play music. His primary inspirations were Vangellis, Jean Michelle Jarre, and Tangerine Dream among others. It was obvious to me that he was one of those musical geniuses which explains his rise to fame. He was a very nice guy too. That's one of my fun stories about music.

Dude, just start creating music with some hardware. Especially, if you have this nice condition. Do it for yourself. I am old and was convinced, that I have no talent my whole life. Now I started music just for me and it's a blast.
