I am amazed at how far goth fashion has come over the years. In the early 80's when I became goth we mainly thrifted and diy everything. I am thrilled that goth is still thriving in some parts of the world.

Nothing like ending it with a bit of Bon Jovi! lol. I'm so glad you got to meet the lead singer from the Cruxshadows. How freakin exciting! I must look into going to this festival one year. Better start saving my pennies though .. I'm sure it would cost a bit from Australia! ;)

I love that you show these great festivals and so many beautiful, creative people. I'm missing out as I'm terrified of even arena gigs. When a teen, pixie sized me was up next to the stage when thousands surged forward at a GA concert. I passed out cold, started getting trampled. Thanks to the quick thinking of a kind security guard and my friend, they yanked me out, he held me up over the crowd, got me to safety. Took awhile to come to, was very confused, bruised badly, but thankfully no concussion or broken bones - so grateful for that and the fast rescue. Sadly this put me off big GA type things, stick to small to medium venues. Even happened in a big nightclub, not as bad as I felt the warning signs & made it outside, luckily didn't faint. While I'd really love to attend one of the great festivals in Germany (so many great ones), I'm afraid I'll be the one off to the side, too scared of the huge crowds & not have very much fun. Keep them coming! Can't wait to see what you got, usually you get the best stuff! Hey just thought of a logistical nightmare, bringing camping equipment from outside Europe? How do people like me, from NY manage? Are there inns, b&b's close enough by? With so many restrictions now on flying it makes me wonder... anyone know? 😘💚🎶🎸🤘⚡️Jet (who always writes too much!)

I saw the Cruxshadows live back circa 2001/2002 at QXT's in Newark and they were WONDERFUL in a small venue. This year I should hopefully see them again at endless Night in New Orleans (fingers crossed)!

You can do it! Creep it in slowly if it's easier, gradually start making all your clothes black and black nail varnish, a bit if eyeliners and keep it growing xxx

What's stopping you? If it's the price then I recommend starting out going to thrift shops or even good will and salvation army if any are near you. Sometimes I go to clearance sections after Halloween and score big at bigger retail store as well just keep your eyes open and try to be creative.

Chelsey Horton I'm 14 and I dress like it you really don't need to hunt for clothes, don't be afraid to look in mainstream shops get some black tights and rip them up, maybe put fishnets underneath. That's what I do anyway
