I enjoy watching Mera Luna vlogs so much! I could watch footage all day from these festivals. Black Friday has some cool content footage from the festival too. Not sure if it’s from the same year though. It reminds me of like a Renaissance fair but Goth...I’d love to go to one

I went to Wacken in Germany the year before!! M'era Luna looks fun too! Love all the industrial and goth bands. Totally feel the rushing out of the hotel thing. omg it sucks when the good bands were at 1pm like oh my god.

Great video! I love that you showned so many different things of the festival and not only the people and the shows. :) Good picks of backgroundmusic also. I can say that I also thought that the massage was free but (speaking as the man with the hat in his lap in the video) they cost from 20 Euros. I was told than then it´s up to you to tip them up to I think he said as most 50 Euro. It felt amazing I can say. Absolutely worth the money, if you just want to feel realy good for a while. One thought after the Combichrist gig was for me if they ever have had a better gig. Mono Inc was good sure, but I must say that I think you get more of the whole Mono Inc experience at one of there own concerts. The response from the audience isn´t at all the same at a festival I feel.

The the worlds largest and best goth festival is the Wave Gotik Treffen in Leipzig/ Germany! In these 5 days the whole city is black! I was there many times! It started in year 1992 with 8 Bands, in year 2000 there were 349 bands playing! This year after 2 years "Corona-break" there are playing nearly 200 bands! To compare: M'era Luna lasts 2 days, this year are around 40 bands playing.

Would love to go to WGT! But obviously the past few years it hasn't been possible. Maybe next year 🤞 Also "the world's largest goth festival" title was because we based it on official ticket sales. Mera luna 2019 vs WGT 2019 had mera luna ahead by 5000 tickets but obviously WGT is a lot bigger because there are many attendees who don't have tickets and come to the city just to be around for the event. In terms of scope and scale you're correct though WGT is bigger!

It's so good! We're gonna go back next year! We definitely do need one in Ireland! We really don't have any good festivals at all! It makes me sad! I also hate the fact that we don't have any Horror festivals! We bought a few little things in the end but successfully didn't spend too much so we can save for Japan!

By official ticket numbers mera luna is larger. Vy unofficial attendance wave gottik is technically bigger. But it's hard to measure. WGTs official attendance cap is about 19,000. But because its an event that runs in several places over a city, lots of people travel down to just hang around the city for the festivities but don't get tickets for entry to the events. So it's impossible to really get an official number Mera lunas official attendance is between 20,000-25,000. And that's purely people who buy tickets and attend. So on the books mera luna is technically the biggest! But it really depends how you look at it!
