Bonus credit for how much he studied this fight scene. I couldn't even begin to imagine how many times the creator of the stop motion fight had to rewatch that midair gunkata scene. I didn't even know what they were doing the first time I watched it, and I still don't!

@@Konh-Minh It's not that hard actually. I just rewatched the scenes frame by frame with software, then thinking about the strategies to stage the scene with the Figma.

Can ANYONE tell me how to make a stop motion and keep the figma standing up without the stand.

While you can apply blutack at the feet of Figma to keep them standing, you still need stands for more dynamic movement like jumping, running and etc. We just remove them with video editing software, either by utilizing mask layers or keylight (if you use greenscreen)
