I think Japan is high humidity so we tend to like soft and moist foods in Japan. I agree Switzerland roll is soo hard, and sometimes sugar is covered and sprinkled around the cake! But I like Switzerland roll too because foreign sweets were so rare and kind of expensive for Japanese when I was a child, so they were like rare rewards for us before. I've never eaten Dojima roll yet to be sad, so I also wanna challenge it soon!!! 🥺🍰🍴✨
