Let me ask you a question. When I was 17, I took Semi-first class of eiken, so I think I have enough knowledge of English. Now I’m practicing speaking English. My problem is when I speak or write English, I always translate. But when I listen to English, It seems that I don’t translate. In order to make my brain English, which should I emphasize on, listening or speaking? It means whether continuing listening to English without translations makes my speaking skills improve.
I’m a medical student in Japan. I had a dream to help people in developing countries who are away from medical treatments. Especially I want to help the poor. But recently, I have a less confidence because I can’t enjoy the unexpected events especially in overseas. I’m scared of crimes in other countries. Also last year I went to Indonesia to learn the diseases there but couldn’t eat food there. It seemed that I had a sensitivity to other country’s environment. I want to be able to enjoy in other countries. Do you think the experiences can help me…?
