Thanks for showing my replay. I really love that tank. As you said, managing the interclip and reload are critical to being successful in that tank. My winrate in that tank has dropped to 67%, but I still play it as it is a credit making machine. The frontal armor is fantastic, as witnessed in this game. Also, it is crazy good at side-scraping.

I really like this tank. The mag reload is actually really short at only 12 seconds... so that's 7 seconds per shot for 3 shots then 12 seconds for 1... it's actually very usable once you get used to it and find it's groove... especially if you have a good hull down ridge line fight. EDIT: I think of it less as a burst auto-loader and more of a VERY good DPM hull down heavy for 3 shots, then slightly bad DPM for 1. 105s usually have a 9 second or so reload, like the Shark's 8.9, so that 12 second mag reload isn't bad at all to get three more at 7. It can be VERY nice against lower DPM heavies when trading. It can fall apart when rushed by meds or multiple heavies at different angles, true, but most heavies are no different.

Very well said. I look at it the same way as you: not as a burst gun, but more of a DPM heavy tank with 7s between shots. There are only a few heavy tanks in tier 8 with faster than 7s reload and two that come to mind are the Caernarvon and Action X, but they have pew-pew guns. The M-IV-Y hits hard.
