多謝呢集嘅內容. 呢帶嘅市中心以前係屬於金融中心, 好多銀行嘅總行全部係位於呢一帶, 包括渣打同匯豐, 所以生記又係我嘅回憶錄😆當時喺生記食晏要等位或搭枱嘅. 以前亦有一棵大樹的. 提一提喺對面嘅諧街就係老字號頌記牛肉丸粉, 已經有79年了. 頌記喺傍晚開始亦有賣雞粥豬雜粥等, 好味亦唔貴. 同一條街行大約兩三分鐘有另外一間70+年老字號主打福建菜餚嘅風月酒家. 風月同一列店舖就係幾間網紅打卡嘅咖啡店, LOKL, Timothy cafe, Kleptokrat cafe.

@@NoChillNoLife 唔使客氣, 喺呢帶上班係三十幾年前嘅事了. 呢幾年因為阿仔喺附近上學, 所以又喺呢一帶天天出沒🤭. 印象中好少youtuber拍市中心嘅呢一邊. 呢度嘅歷史文化同跡象好豐富的, 畢竟係城市起源之點. 匯豐嘅總行未搬去TRX之前係位於生記行過兩條街嘅River of Life Old Market Square嗰邊. 附近就係Jamek Mosque, Central Market, Merdeka Square, Sultan Abdul Samad Building. 全部係過百年見證歷史嘅建築物. 我提嗰幾間咖啡店都係重新裝修過嘅pre war buildings. 隔離街Jalan Tun Perak亦有Picaddilly Cafe, Mountbatten Cafe(殖民時期係叫Mountbatten Road). 喺附近亦有一條叫做Lebuh Ampang嘅街道. 呢條街以前係叫做Little India, 係好有文化色彩嘅地點 and famous for the presence of Chettiar community in the olden days.

生蝦麵呀,以前龍溪(dengkil)都好出名,記得仲有巴生和烏魯音 如果有雅興食生蝦,可到霹靂州督亞冷因為有遊水鮮活生蝦(雖然價錢都係百幾蚊/公斤)。當時香港友人臨時起意約去食生蝦,點一公斤約六隻嘅中大蝦清蒸。如果係一公斤十隻的小蝦,適合其他煮法當然以生蝦麵嚟講,大小蝦的口感與味道各有精彩視個人喜好而定

This meal was about RM120, as we understand most viewers would be interested in knowing the price, so normally we would cover the menu including the price range, while what we ate and the cost of our meal would be quite variable depending on your stomach 😊 thanks for your support and watching 😁

Beta, awesome foodie vlog. It surprised me that this is known as a hidden place, and only the locals know how to get there. I'm a regular customer here, and I come during the office lunch break. I don't take beef, but my favorite is also the "Gong Fu big prawn," which is very tasty. By the way, Pavilion KL Chinese New Year decorations this year is very stunning, but the best of the best is the Sunway Pyramid flying dragon new year decorations! If you're free, you can visit because Sunway has many great fine dining restaurants to explore as well.

我今早才煮了薑葱生蝦生麵吃,吃完你的片就彈咗出黎,又係食生蝦麵,咁啱😁😁!大馬的野生生蝦更加正,但量很少,我所知的有兩處,一是麻坡河一帶(Sungai Muar),二是雲冰河一帶(Sungai Rompin)。還有一家更加正,更加正係因爲有多種好野食,位於 Batu Cave 黑風洞 一帶,我兩公婆時常特登驅車40多公里,大概1粒鍾去食,又係人多到懷疑人生。另一家不同的生蝦菜式(吃飯)也是很正,但地點有少少恐怖,位於墳場附近!遲一點才介紹比你,怕你食怕了。 😁😁

全名係"苏记仔大树头生虾面",大树头係指以前 1960's kota raya area.现在个位师傅係苏记仔的immediate family ,另外生记嫡系is at Lot 10 10号胡同。之后苏记(派) 门徒自己出来开档,其中之一间at 新锋bkt 对面,店内都有个棵大树。两派都有own style of flavour. 叶亚来乃是当年的黑社会总陀主兼吉隆玻"开山劈石大功臣",caue by then , the British governement needed a Chinese 话事人 to manage the Chinese labour 。。。aka "维持社会order".后尾the authorities came out with a "beautify version of porfolio".. 苏记/派的炒牛肉河其实非常考功夫,施主不妨一try.. 善哉善哉。

Hi Beta. The size of that piece of prawn you showed with your palm is roughly about 700gms (visual estimation). It is a king size prawn. It looks like freshwater prawn. □ Seafood (or freshwater fish) restaurant price of a cooked freshwater king size prawn may cost roughly between Rm12 to 15 per 100gm (it depends on the type of cooking, and the location of the restaurant in KL/PJ ).

Hello Leongkem, you so good at estimation, this type of prawn is relatively of higher value (in KL), yet we treat it as a check-in activity, as we normally see many pictures about this dish in Malaysia. it's worth trying 😊

來臨的1月25是印度人的大寶森節(Thaipusam), 推荐一定要去黑風洞(Batu Cave) 感受節日氣氛,但不建議揸車,因為附近會封很多路。可以KTM到BATU CAVE 站或者GRAB。

Yes, it’s funny that when we took grab, our grab driver didn’t even have any clue about it, and thankfully he was super nice and directly made a call to the shop. So eventually we could get there as well. It is a hidden gem !😊

@@NoChillNoLife 廣府炒鴛鴦,我認爲位於 Petaling Jaya 的 Sea Park,Sea View 和 Paramount Garden 這三個區的炒粉檔最爲接近古早味,事關他們用的配料有豬肝粉腸,廣府炒鴛鴦的靈魂,不過不知現在有沒有改變。早期的適苑酒家,廣府炒鴛鴦頂呱呱,雖然它的配料是鷄雜或者豬排骨,但是它的米粉是少油鍋氣煎的,最古早味和最香的做法。😁

This restaurant used to serve very sweet papaya. Not sure if it’s still available. During my time we will normally request for the chef to cook the meal. The chef in your vlog was his assistant. As a norm will order a small portion of the prawn noodle as it’s so expensive and a large portion of the Kong fu chow which is much cheaper. We do bring foreign bosses to this place and everybody enjoyed.

Yes we did try the papaya which was also served with lime. It was so great however our phone ran out of battery and sadly couldn’t share with you all. You have reminded me of this sweet thing also! Thank you ! 😊👍🏻

我都很少在外面叫來吃,太貴了。但就在 Rompin 河邊吃過 Orang Asli (土著)在餐館後面抓的,就非常便宜,扎扎跳,和大隻。😁

At the beginning of the video there’s a roving stall which you have pass by. That stall by this old auntie selling fairy good old school Kaya Swiss rolls, kaya puff and pastries etc. Highly recommend

隻蝦好巨型啊, 我未食過咁大隻蝦😄. 我在馬六甲食過生蝦芝士米都好好味. 本來想去youtuber介紹的大肥嫂吃, 不過我朋友就帶左我去一間local人去的地方, 叫做中泰食館. d米粉索晒蝦汁+芝士咸蛋黃汁好正, 不過隻蝦就未發育😅

@@NoChillNoLife 不過我唔肯定大肥嫂好食d, 定中泰的生蝦芝士米粉好食d. Google評分好像差不多. 中泰的蝦比較細隻我就好sure. 但係他們家的潮式蒸石班魚同客家釀豆腐就好食, 魚蒸得好滑, 個豆腐好滑好好送飯同埋唔咸, 喺大馬食嘢好多時都好重口味, 呢間比較清淡啱香港人口味. 老闆識講廣東話.

@@NoChillNoLife 係,這個區最好搭Grab,泊車很大問題。如果揸車可以泊 MyDin 地下停車場,但位不多,而且非常暗,最慘的是,還要走相當遠的路,可以説吃飽後,行返到拿車,肚子又餓返了!😁

@@NoChillNoLife 係呀,sorry,我忘記提醒你,不過如果駕車也能找到車位,MyDin Supermarket 就是最近的泊車處。你們找得到呢檔野,是有福氣的人,也是你們的緣分(把口,哈哈)。行入條後巷的時候,有沒有覺得恐怖與不妥,安全性受到威脅,好像點你們去賣咁呢?呢檔野很少人知,知的應該都是附近工作的人和一些喂食人罷了😁!阿婆的蛋糕係真的有少少古早味感覺。😁

@@NoChillNoLife 其實生蝦,任何煮法都好吃,主要是必須掌握好煮蝦的技巧,同埋必須維持到它的膏,也必須新鮮,越新鮮越正,剛剛在河中抓上來就煮更加甜更加結實。以現在冷凍的技術,冷凍的生蝦,新鮮度不會減少(冷凍得太久也不可以),但甜味就會影響。如果解過凍,再雪藏就玩完,質素會大大退步,會非常腥,肉霉!😁

@@NoChillNoLife 外觀上沒有,但是過分了,它的殼身會黑一點,手感上會綿軟一點,結實感會少了一點,但是雪凍了什麽也手感不到。亦會有藥水浸過的蝦,這個就不好分辨了,手感依然結實,可能蝦身會比新鮮蝦特別閃亮。😁

所谓生虾就是淡水虾在西马是天价东马这里25块1kg,我们小时住乡下,时常去河里吊虾几个小时就一大桶😄

@@NoChillNoLife 膽固醇不能不食,因爲它是萬歲爺,冇膽固醇的野,通常都不怎麽好吃,除了廋羊肉(比鷄肉膽固醇還要低)。膽固醇也有分好膽固醇和壊膽固醇,兩者都是體内必須,所以有時要吃一點黑醋、浙醋,應該能輕微解膽固醇,因爲聽説豬脚醋是零膽固醇。平時吃多一點蒜米,姜,醋,軟化血管的食材,血管軟化非常重要,以防血管過壓爆裂,亦幫助血液循環。😁
