Def a museum of the weird nod. a nod to the original medusa changing portriat. a nod to the singing bust... now singing knight heads. Even a slight nod to the tikiroom. Any other hidden HM refrences anyone? I cant wait till the music is released I love it!!! And the ending is awesome like a very updated version of PMs scene at the end with all of its chorus and stuff.

Please don't simply generalize all Hong Kong people as the same type, there do have fans and supporters of Hong Kong Disneyland who loves the theme and story of the park, appreciates the ride system and show effects of the brand new WORLD EXCLUSIVE Mystic Manor. At least me and my friends really love it and are amazed by the Imagineers.

I hope that the Ratatouille ride at Walt Disney Studios @ Paris has the same type of vehicles as this one and has the same quality for special effects and theming, then it will be an awesome ride!

Bravo! This is true Disney Magical Experience. If they bring this to Orlando it surely be a competitor against HPatFJ (which is currently my favorite ride). US Disney needs to not concern so much on budget limitations. People will know and appreciate where it went to. Just look at DisneySea.

I find your comment offensive. Don't get me wrong. The park has just opened for about 7 years. The fan base is still growing at a slow but steady pace. The park is currently lack of dark rides. It deserves this ride and Disney should build more dark rides in the future. I believe one day local guests will enjoy a visit to HKDL as pleasant as, if not more so than, to ocean park.

Wow, this is just magical! Disney Imagineers proof once more that they're state of the art. Hopefully, they'll use the same technology (not the cars but the screens and projections) for the Ratatouille ride in Paris next year.

Okay I get the portrait is a reference to Disneyland, but the busts are really iconic as well as Grim Grinning Ghosts, which was present in the other 4 attractions. I was hoping they would do something like the busts in the Paris version.

To the theme maybe (due to it's Chinese cultural references that wouldn't work in the US anyway). That doesn't mean they can't clone the layout and re-theme it elsewhere..

Wow, this ride is absolutely mindblowing and it really shows the level of attention to detail the the Imagineers strive to put into their designs. I'm a little surprised that there is no reference to the four other Haunted Mansion style rides. I was almost expecting the five busts singing Grim Grinning Ghosts somewhere in there...

I believe there do have local people who are only fond of extremely thrill rides and are not used to the theme of Disney Parks. Indeed, local fans are trying to introduce the story of Disneyland to more local people. As fans, we really hope to share the magic of Disney's Imagineering to everyone, but this do needs time to change the rooted local culture.

Wants ALL dark rides to use this wireless Tech. Its SO much cooler than On a track. (Although i Love Peterpan and Snow white with all my heart and soul). When you compare a snake-like layout of scenes with a room with no concrete tether to the ground marking your route....you cant beat full Rooms.

visually this ride looks fantastic. Shame as far as niche (dark story ride, slightly scary for kids) it is similar to Haunted mansion. They are both such pretty rides but they took a lot more freedom with this. I want to ride it.

Disney gave Hong Kong Disneyland exclusive rights to this ride and Grizzly Peak for 5 years so until then this ride is HK exclusive.

dark ride都係機動遊戲之一 迪士尼樂園係玩身歷其境,就算環球影城之類公園都有好多野係坐住架車睇野 但一樣吸引到好多人 迪士尼要起果D無主題既過山車,洗衣機之類既野 係遊客角度倒不如索性去OP,長隆之類門票會比較相宜 亦唔一定吸引到人,反斗奇兵大本營已經係一個例子 係丫,有U型飛車好刺激,咪刺激到無咩人玩

Incorrect. If you watch his video carefully, you can see the differences. His is another ride-thru of the (amazing) attraction. In his, a reverse Nordic Chamber can be seen, with the same effects, but left to right, and the Mongol suit of armor not present in this video.

The Haunted Mansion will always be better, it has a timeless theme that cannot be broken. If Mystic Manor hits 40+ years old and still has a huge fan base, then we'll talk. Considering MM relies on its technology and less on theme, I don't feel it has that ability.
