Lattan Mosque is one of the best preserved monuments within the walled city of ancient gaur, now in Maldah, West Bengal. It is located between the tanti pada mosque and the Bridge of Five Arches. The mosque has been stylistically dated to the end of the 15th or early 16th century and was possibly built during the time of the Husain Shahi sultans.

Built of brick, the entire building, consisting of a square prayer chamber of 10.36 m on each side and a verandah 10.36 m by 3.35 m forms a rectangle 21.95 m from east to west and 15.54 m from north to south. The prayer chamber is entered through three arched openings on each side except the qibla side. The qibla wall is internally recessed with three semi-circular mihrab niches facing the three entrances on the eastern side.
The central mihrab and central archways on all sides are bigger than their flanking counterparts. The central mihrab shows a rectangular projection on the exterior side, which is bounded by fluted columns.
The oblong verandah is entered from the east by three arched doorways, and from the north and south sides by a single doorway. The central archway of the verandah, which is exactly in the alignment of the central doorway of the prayer chamber, is bigger than the remaining ones.
All the four corner towers, which have round flutings, are divided into sections by moulded bands and carried up to the roof level. The cornices and battlements of the building are beautifully curved.
The square prayer chamber is roofed over by a single dome. The dome is carried on a round base created by half-domed squinches on the upper angles and blocked arches on the four cardinal sides, all rising from engaged pillars - two on each wall. The spaces between the blocked arches and squinches are filled with brick pendentives. The oblong verandah is roofed over with three small vaults - the central one of chau-chala type and the side ones of the inverted cup-shaped type. The two wide transverse arches (which divide the verandah into three sections) in combination with small pendentives carry the thrust of these vaults.
लट्टन मस्जिद प्राचीन गौर के चारदीवारी वाले शहर के भीतर सबसे अच्छे संरक्षित स्मारकों में से एक है, जो अब पश्चिम बंगाल के मालदह में है। यह तांती पाड़ा मस्जिद और ब्रिज ऑफ फाइव आर्चेस के बीच स्थित है। शैलीगत दृष्टि से मस्जिद को 15वीं सदी के अंत या 16वीं सदी की शुरुआत में बनाया गया था और संभवतः इसका निर्माण हुसैन शाही सुल्तानों के समय में किया गया था।

सभी तरफ केंद्रीय मिहराब और केंद्रीय मेहराब अपने पार्श्व समकक्षों से बड़े हैं। केंद्रीय मिहराब बाहरी तरफ एक आयताकार प्रक्षेपण दिखाता है, जो बांसुरीदार स्तंभों से घिरा हैl
आयताकार बरामदे में पूर्व से तीन मेहराबदार द्वारों द्वारा प्रवेश किया जाता है, और उत्तर और दक्षिण की ओर से एक ही द्वार द्वारा प्रवेश किया जाता है। बरामदे का केंद्रीय तोरणद्वार, जो बिल्कुल प्रार्थना कक्ष के केंद्रीय द्वार के संरेखण में है, शेष से बड़ा है l
सभी चार कोने वाली मीनारें, जिनमें गोल बांसुरी है, ढाले हुए बैंड द्वारा खंडों में विभाजित हैं और छत के स्तर तक ले जाए गए हैं। इमारत के कंगूरे खूबसूरती से घुमावदार l
चौकोर प्रार्थना कक्ष की छत एक ही गुंबद से बनी है। गुंबद को एक गोल आधार पर रखा गया है, जो ऊपरी कोणों पर आधे-गुंबददार स्क्विंच द्वारा बनाया गया है और चार कार्डिनल पक्षों पर अवरुद्ध मेहराब हैं, सभी संलग्न स्तंभों से उठते हैं - प्रत्येक दीवार पर दो। अवरुद्ध मेहराबों और स्क्विंच के बीच का स्थान ईंट के पेंडेंटिव से भरा हुआ है। आयताकार बरामदे की छत तीन छोटे-छोटे तहखानों से बनी है - मध्य में चौ-चला प्रकार की और पार्श्व में उल्टे कप के आकार की। दो चौड़े अनुप्रस्थ मेहराब (जो बरामदे को तीन खंडों में विभाजित करते हैं) छोटे पेंडेंटिव के साथ मिलकर इन तहखानों का जोर उठाते हैं l
