Sally Field portrayed a grieving mother very well, so well that I will not be able to watch this movie again. Miss my baby boy so much 💔😭. 6 years later still feels like it all happened the other day, it turns you inside out and upside down, you die with them and what's left is a completely different person. But you have to find the things or people that make life good and keep you going.... Even tho them being gone makes life hurt, it also gives you more of an appreciation for it to... When she said, I was there when that wonderful creature drifted into my life and I was there when she drifted out. It was the most precious moment of my life. I felt that but in a different way. I had my daughter 3 months ago and I gave her up for adoption. I know the family that adopted her and we're very close. I felt that in that way. I was there when she was born and I was there when they took her from the hospital. They've been great. They let me hold her all I wanted in the hospital and they gave me an hour alone with her before they took her from the hospital. I just talked to her and I told her that I was always going to be there for her and that I love her and that she was going to have a big family that loves her. I know it's different like I said but I could really relate to that. Before anyone judges me, her father has not been in the picture and he is not a good person and I knew that he was going to do her more harm than good. I know I did the right thing because as I said, she has a big family and most importantly, a mother and father and Big brother who Loved her. I'd say most importantly her father. She deserves a father who loves and validates her and she would not have gotten that from her father if I had kept her. Plus I'm just not in a position to take care of her on my own but they said that I will be allowed to be in her life as much as I want and that they will make sure she knows how much I love her. Wasn't easy but being a good parent means doing what is best for your child even if it hurts you. Sometimes I think that that's going to be the thing that breaks me but I'm not going to let her father doing what he did be the reason that breaks me. I'm not going to give him that satisfaction. I'm just going to be here for her as much as I can and when she turns 18, she will always know that my door is open to her and that I love her. I'm still her first mother and even though I won't be raising her, I love her more than life itself. I could just relate to when she said that in a way.
