The crunchy cookie ones tasted like a crispy chips ahoy cookie in m&m form- I loved 'em!! I happened to have a bag leftover from the holidays of the sugar cookie m&m's and that was fun to do a comparison between those two- the sugar cookie ones are way sweeter (white choc, makes sense), but these taste much more like an actual COOKIE.

I’ve been a fan of the crispy M&Ms for years, they’ve always been my preference until they became scarce and from what I thought, discontinued. When I saw the outpour of crunchy cookie M&Ms I bought it every time I saw them! Insisting that they were just the crispy flavor in disguise as rebranding. Anyway, thanks for the review I can agree that it tastes slightly different, but I still think it’s rebranding 😂

Haven't tried the M&M's crispy cookie yet but so far my favourite is the M&M's fudge brownie, I wish they would make a chocolate orange🤩

You should review the limited edition KitKat and Dove that are lemon flavored! The KitKat lemon was like a decadent vanilla wafer with the creme in the middle. They're only for spring

Personally, I was very disappointed with the cookie crunch m&ms. They don’t taste bad.. but they aren’t worth the extra calories and sugar for me. I wanted an actual cookie-like core, not rice crisp in the center! Honestly was grossed out by what the center looked like D:

@@TamiDunn So, I tried the Crunchy Cookie yesterday...I didn't taste any malt at all :( nor do I think there was any 'cookie' at all inside (they're too small for me to bite in half, LOL)...to me, they seem like a plain M&M with crispy bits (Rice Krispies?) inside, the same as Kevin described the Crispy ones, so....I wanted to see how different the ingredients were, so I went to the M&Ms' site, and, guess what? The Crispy ones aren't there, I even tried to search for them, but they're gone. I wonder if they've discontinued the Crispy, & just changed the newer Crunchy Cookie to the Crispy ones? How long ago did you buy the Crispy ones you used in this video from a few days ago? Even if it was recently, I guess it could just take a while for local stores to run out of them. And as for the Crunchy Cookie ones you tried here tasting differently, I offer up this 2nd hand personal experience...my mother does in-store demos (sampling), a few years ago, she demoed the Coffee Bean (I think that's what they were called - they're not on the M&Ms site, now, either) M&Ms, & everyone loved them! Once they were in mass production, she bought me a bag, & excitedly watched me try them, but I thought they were meh, so she tried them, and was like, 'these don't taste anything like the ones I demoed, they're nowhere near as good!' And they're now gone...so I wonder if M&Ms maybe makes some of these new flavors really yummy, and people like them, but then, when they try to mass produce them, they run into supply issues, & have to change the recipe, & then they're not as good? At the least, I'm almost sure (I'll look again through the bag, to see if there's one big enough for me to bite in half) there was no cookie inside (though they were crunchy) the Crunchy Cookie ones I just had, they were crispy & nice, but I won't be buying them again. I did compare the ingredients using your photos of the packages, & the lists are nearly identical between the 2 - the Crunchy Cookie adds "chocolate" in the () for the Milk Chocolate, some of the colorings listed vary, & the Crunchy Cookies have 'natural and artificial flavors' near the end of the list, which aren't on the list for the Crispy. Overall, though, there's nothing on the list for the Crunchy Cookie to indicate there's any kind of 'cookie' inside. They do both list "Crisp Rice," though, & in the same place on the list.
