Not only to draw a full page takes a lot of time, there is also the part of the work where you have to do the writing, character design, environments and looking for references and stuff. If you do all on your own of course, i'd say that te drawing part at the end is the easiest part for my personal experience

It depends on the project. If the story is about school or slice of life, the designs will be moderate. But when it comes to action, mecha, fantasy, it will be complex.
