Not only at their concerts, I've also seen a Damiano video clip were he talks about racism, specifically mentioning the George Floyd incident and saying we people are not doing enough, artists in particular are not doing enough. I can’t recall exactly what he said but it was something along the lines of him saying that it wasn’t enough/acceptable that so many artists in privileged positions were choosing to turn a blind eye to it or rather steering clear of the topic instead of using their privileged position to have a say and add some weight to the fight. And not just from Damiano, they have all participated at black lives matter protests.

This is so powerful. Måneskin is not only just saying the appropriate themes for just to be noticed, they are actually doing it, living it. To do this and have this message on stage in Poland is so important and so powerful , especially in this time, where the LGBTQi community in Poland and Hungary are facing real threat , with laws that could actually harm them. Mind you , these countries are in the EU !! Love, love LOVE them for who they are, and for what they stand for. Worthy Eurovision winners!

Basically here in Poland polish press went crazy over this kiss - creating tones of articles abt this moment. Krzysztof Śmiszek - member of polish parliament was greatful for Maneskin act & Angrzej Piaseczny - polish popular vocalist who lately came out said how important it was. Most of the youth thinks that it can be needed trigger to debate abt LGBT+ situation in our country) & some conservatives expressed their criticism as always

This was so great - the moment I saw them at San Remo they didn't seem any different from my own kids who are the same age, they are saying the same things and dressing the same way and yet we are on the other side of the equator. They are speaking for a generation and Z are something special, I have hope for the future. This kiss, what they wear it's all a statement. Them winning Eurovision was no fluke or anomoly this is a new generation spreading their wings and their message.

As a Polish person and a part of LGBTQ+ community I absolutely appreciate these type of statements and support, but at the same time I'm utterly ashamed that it even came to the point where it's needed. We used to be so much more open. In late 90's we had a whole campaign about LGBTQ+ community visibility and how the fuck 20+ years later our people got so much hate in their hearts... Beyond me. Love Måneskin's for doing this.

And what needs to be remembered is that Poland will never listen to the European Union in 100% because we are a country that nobody commands, because our country has already experienced many horrors.
