He's not singing but using a talkbox. I don't know the exact mechanism but it changes the guitar sound in certain way when he moves his mouth.

@@haoranni7904 it's not a pedal really, but it creates a sound effect yes. The talkbox is a kind of speaker where you attach a hose, so that the sound is redirected into the hose. When you put the hose (and the sound coming out of it) in your mouth and move your mouth/ talk / sing / whatever while playing, it changes the guitar sound accordingly, essentially makes the guitar "sing". Sorry I don't know how to explain it properly.
