This was released four months before my dad passed away. However, I found it maybe twelve hours before he took his last breath. When I heard it, I just came home from the hospital, we already knew he would not survive the night. I took it as a sign from him and yes, that night was the loneliest. In the morning I got a call from hospital that he was not longer with us. This song will always remind me of that time. Thank you Maneskin.

But the fact they top charts has a lot to do with other aspects than being "better" or "special". But again, hits don't equal better and/or special.

The first I listened to this song, I didn't pay attention to the lyrics actually I thought this was a break-up song. And then I listened more carefully. Watched the video clip, and burst out crying. I listened to this song a lot when I was in hospital in January, where my father used to visit me. One of the last times i spent time together with him. My dad passed away 3 days ago. I didn't think this song will become my reality....he will be buried this week. I just feel like I want to jump into his grave just like the guy in the end of the clip. To lay next to him so he won't have to be alone in the cold ground.
