you can find many tribes of genghis khan in modern Kazakhs people such as qayan, kongurat, naiman, merkit, jalayr, dughlat, oirat, onghut, kereiyt, many many... i myself from naiman tribe of kazakh people. modern kazakh consisted of 41 big tribes, 80-90% of them related to ginghs khan. also there is another tribe called Tore, they are direct descendant of genghis khan, from his eldest son, jochi. they are also a lot in kazakh people.

as a han chinese, i think mongolian as a group of people, not a country, there are mongolians and han chinese in mongolia and there are mongolians and han chinese in China, we share a lot of similirities and mongolians ruled china for a long time, so the word "chinese" is just like "Europeans", i think it means more things than just han chinese people, it is more like a esat Asia culture. mongolians can be chinese and chinese can be mongolians.

Yes, Bogd Khan's Palace. The original old palace still exists is in disrepair and the Chinese rebuilt the entrance gate and surrounding structures. The orginals were burnt down by a Chinese warlord in the 20s? I think.

That is true, old Mongolian is more difficult. At least, you would expect the government to have Mongolian signage on the road signs and on stores. because Ulan Bataar looks like an old Soviet town, it doesn't have the characteristics you would expect of a Mongolian town.

i can feel the Mongol commentator's disagreement because this is sung in Mandarin...it'll be like in our case the Igorots (we also poses oriental eyes) of the mountains of Luzon, Philippines when a lowland Filipino theater dance group would post "Igorot Dance" here in you tube and they dance it the way they interpret it...moreover they are not Igorots themselves!

⊙﹏⊙b汗 哥們，太激動了 我花了十多分鐘才看完了回覆啊。。。 對於歷史什麽的不太好說 但我覺得沒必要把責任推到政府和外地人身上，沿海地區能發展的好是國家早期政策上的偏斜。經濟本來就是用較發達地區帶動次發達地區的，作為既得利益者，我覺得沒什麼立場對內陸農村來城裡打工的苦哈哈較勁。 都說了沒什麼古漢語，古代的官話放到古代去也只算是地方方言。總是稱北方話是韃子什麽的實在很容易挑撥地域歧視，我一直致力于和諧社會的說~ 地方語言改變是很正常的，沒有那個地區能保持數百年的口音不加更改。變動頻繁反而代表了本地區人口流動頻繁，經濟活躍呢（除了戰亂~）從歷史角度看反而顯得更好不是麼？ 實在沒必要這麼糾結，網上天天在吼叫，其實現實狀況沒這麼糟糕的。 如果我說粵語已經算是方言裏面保護的最完好的一個了你信么？！

No one is asking the Mongolians to build the parliament in the Chinese manner. Yes Mongolian tradional dwelling is the Ger, but when they built a permanent structure, they built it in a Chinese style (with Mongolian and Tibetan characteristics). Like the Khan Palace. There used to be a lot of such structures in Mongolia. Of course many were torn down and replaced by bland Soviet architecture.
