For players who don't have good helidrop characters, Utage is really good. I mean look at the video, she disintegrates an enemy crusher in what? a dozen seconds? Plus, she's a 4 star, meaning she's easy to get. Her first skill can be used by letting enemies she can't deal with go. For example, enemy defenders who have high defense. By activating her skill Utage can let the defender go. If you placed a defender behind Utage, the enemy defender will get blocked by your more tanky unit, allowing Utage to deal with more squishy units, leaving the enemy defender to your casters. I use her mostly for her helidrop even though I have skadi because her arts damage does better than skadi in some cases. She's not just waifu material if you know how to use her correctly.

That's exactly my account, only duelist so far is Melantha, because without Hellagur or Skadi the others seemed like a side upgrade only, and I can always borrow them for CM or CC. But Utage could be a great and cheap addition for my team for standard maps or allow me to borrow another operator I'm missing. I had no idea how her S1 was used before this video, but it does look super useful when not going for a helidrop style. Given that you have her, what's your opinion on the priority or skill to M3 for her, S2 because she's still mostly a helidrop, or S1 to make her more universal?

@@halmyrach to be honest, I would probably put S2 as a priority because I have plenty of universal duelists and using utage this way (as a universal unit) would probably require some monitoring since her dps depends a lot on her health bar. Personal opinion though, if you feel like utage is your best choice for a universal duelist, go for it.

@@kathymei7959 It makes sense, I'll go for her S2 then. I do have Astesia at S2M3 already, not quite the same role or cost, but if I need a duelist to stay on the map she's good enough assuming she can receives some kind of healing I guess. Thanks for the information :)

Kathy Mei isnt projekt red better for helidrop?maybe for high defense enemy,but you never helidrop high defense enemy, becos high defense just tank it n kill use caster

@@heart1sts Not necessarily. Sometimes, you want to kill those high defense enemies before they reach your main DPS and tanks, like those defense crushers. Since casters are generally behind or to the side of your tanks, they may not kill those threats fast enough. Plus, she heals on hit so you don't need a healer to baby her till she brings the enemy down. Not a fast helidrop, but understandable given how she cuts through enemies like butter. #buff skadi
