I am totally in love with these. But... I have never figured out how to do that first coating that you had in the black pot. Someone told me to use an Amazon product for film... I looked but couldn't figure that out. What is in your black pot?

Thank you! I don't think you can do it with resin. I think you can do it with nail polish instead.

@@ArtologybySaraHann I tried to use just nail polish... horrible results. But since then i just have seen someone doing it successfully, but they coated just the wire first. When that was dry, they came back with a thin coating of polish over the entire wire frame. So far i haven't tried it yet. Maybe you can and tell me if you get success. Of course, after you get the wire covered, you have to coat with resin. I am thinking using a soft resin would work best until the shaping is done. Then cost with a final coating of hard resin.

I like a company that in Salem, Oregon. They have really good quality, are an American company, and I get my orders within a week. Usually less. They have both silver and gold plate at extremely reasonable prices. They are on eBay.

こんにちは〜☺️ 作ってみてくださってるんですね❣️ うれしいです。ありがとうございます✨ ご質問についてですが レジンと接着剤を使い分ける理由は 明確にあります。 レジンって万能に見えて、実は金属と相性が悪い性質を持ちます。 なのでレジンで金属同士をくっつけようとすると、その時はくっついていても経年劣化でペリッと剥がれてしまいます。 なので、私は金属をレジンでつけるの好きではありません…（よくKZbinの他の動画でそういうのよく見ますが…^^;;） キレイに作品をたもちたいのであれば、金属、ガラスなどに使える2液性接着剤の使用をオススメします。（２つの液をまぜて使う接着剤） ちなみに私はセメダインのエクセルエポというものを使っています。動画下の説明欄にリンクあるので気になったら見てみてください。 長文失礼しました。
