Hi dimoteau, 🙋🏽‍♀️thank you very much for your lovely comment. I did do Grande but it was slapped down with copyright. This is not as easy as people think. I had to fight for this one too. It gets tiresome sometimes. I think people think you just pick up a record and play it and it's not like that at all. Most of Monica's stuff I have had to fight. So people just need to be grateful she is being played constantly by me. xx

This video has a double meaning, on the one hand what the lyrics of the song say, a daughter who tells her mother that it is time to be herself and that no one will stop her because she will learn from her mistakes as her mother did. ...! The other meaning is that Monica struggles to be a free singer, but is linked by her record label which are the monsters that bind her and with whom Monica struggles in the video to free herself. The girl represents the young singers who want to start their career thinking that they can do what they want but the record companies (The Man in the Mask) will take her to exploit her and will not let them be free artists :( In real life, Mónica Naranjo has been a free artist for many years and only does what she likes :)

That's true, she told about using that "sample" (I think this is the word) to make the base of the song. The same when Madonna was using Abba's sample( Gimme gimme gimme) for her song Hung Up. It's not a coincidence, the told about this in some interviews. Good ear and culture! 🎶

What a good ear you have Psyche, you are great ..... in an interview that Mónica conducted, she explained the reason for this song, which she released alone simply because she felt like it, as a vindication of the music industry: Mónica said: "The era of singles and vinyl has been forgotten, entering a frenzied rhythm in which every 16 months you have to release an album, of which often only two songs are worthwhile and the rest are trash" In this song, there are Four bars of the song Smalltown Boy by the musical group Bronski Beat and fifteen minutes of inspiration allowed her to illuminate Make You Rock, which breathes her passion for The Communards or Trevor Horn, for the arrangements of the 80s, "when he made music for the love of work. " She composed the music with Pepe Herrero and Marian Dacal put lyrics to it. For the production of this song that brings her back on the disco path, she collaborated with Chris Gordon, who had worked with her on her album "Tarántula" (2008). I love your reactions, I would love if you react to the videos since you are very observant, in the 1994 when she started her career you can see that she was already ahead of her time in the elaboration of her music videos. Cuando un artista de habla inglesa hace su álbum, generalmente no les importa ponerlo en otro idioma, así que ¿por qué los artistas que no hablan inglés deberían hacer eso? I don't know if u are Eurofan or if u follow Eurovisión Song Contest... There are a lot of "not winners" songs to react.. if u don't know about them. Thanks very much Jesus, but Im not interested in that plus I have to have big hitters as it's a worldwide platform so little acts don't pull in the views and unfortunately that matters on KZbin. Plus Im a small channel though growing quickly as I only really started properly beginning of March this year. Look at Monica, big star but small worldwide, so those acts mentioned will find it harder so that is why I'm concentrating on her for a while. But thank you, also I don't take requests - as I don't get paid, so I do my own thing and playlist - just like Monica! Do you know there's many channels that charge $50 for a request? People don't even want to treat me to a cup of coffee 😂- and the ones who do are people who have never asked for anything. Imagine that x

Unfortunately I don't do requests as I dont get paid. People are starting to support the channel by buying a coffee which may help get reactions played in the future. It’s really dark and evil. But I don’t think she have the idea for the video, I mean, at the end she is only a tool of something bigger, something more sinister, at least I think that way. It’s like Frozen from Madonna, also dark and the lyrics too. You only see what your eyes want to see...... have a hidden message, be part of the evil, give your soul, etc.
