The route I follow is here : www.alltrails....
After three years closed down due to Covid-19, finally can visit Japan and hiking there again. I did Solo Hiking near lake Motosuko of Fuji Five Lakes area this time to circle trail from parking lot of Mt. Kenashi, climb up to 1946m Mt. Kenashi, than follow trail route to 1777m Mt. Amagatake, after a lunch break, I descent to 1485m Mt. Ryugatake. Once finished trail and return to Lake Motosuko, I then follow road 139 back to Mt. Kenashi parking lot. This is a 26km and in around 11 hours trail hiking but I missed the short daylight during winter of Japan issue, I had to catch a free-ride back to parking lot before turn dark. Fortunately, a nice Japanese gentleman stopped by and drove me back to parking lot saving my life from skipping 8km walk in the dark.
The trail was good and not so hard to finish except those 4km with 1000m climb at the beginning (I used 3 hours to the top of Mt. Kenashi), after that, the trail is easy and most likely all down-hill forest path.
Along with the trail and good weather, there were many places you can view the different angle of Mt. Fuji and because it is not a popular trail and not in holiday, I only met less then 10 hikers.
