I know this is an old thread but question for you I’ve worked on almost every brand and I purchased a Roq last year and overall it’s good but not great. I’m not disappointed with it just expected a little more. My question is, are you Roq pallets square? I checked my pallets and not one is square, I checked my other presses and they’re all square. Some of my pallets are literally off 1/2 inch. Doesn’t seem like much until you have a large print with straight lettering at the top and bottom. The issue becomes apparent when i setup and check my other pallets and they’re not straight on all pallets. Thought it might be pallet arms but nope, it’s the pallets themselves. For tens of thousands of dollars I’d expect perfect pallets like my Tas, M&R and Centurian. I know you’re a Roq and M&R company but AWT Cenuturian presses are absolute beast with amazing accuracy but are difficult with hoodies.

M&R and Roq have similar pallet deflection issues. This is why you get similar overall print quality. Pallet deflection is the enemy of fine printing/ tuning and settings that are uniform across all stations and other machines in our industry have zero to minimal deflection. All MHM and American M&M Centurians are examples.

Honey comb pallets do stay warm btw....that's false info. And why would you want to change pallet paper in Between a job?

I ripped off the rubber topping on my manual press. I don't think I would like solid AL pallets. 14 Color MHM.

M&R hands down. Running Roq now and it's been nothing but cheap problems.
