बहुत धन्यवाद। कुछ और मैं जोड़ना चाहुंगा। इंग्लिश के संदर्भ में। अक्सर यह कहा जाता है, कि Idol of Ganesh, Idol of Saraswati... Hindus are idol worshippers. यह सरासर गलत है। जबतक एक पत्थर, काठ या फोम की गणेश आकृति दुकान में रहती है वो एक idol या वस्तु है, जिसे हम खरीद फरोख कर सकते हैं। पर जब उसकी स्थापना कर साधारण तौर पर या पूर्ण विधि अनुसार प्राण प्रतिष्ठा करें तो वह विग्रह हो जाता है, उसमें भाव आ जाता है, और हम उसमें इष्ट देवता को ही देखते हैं न कि पत्थर या काठ या फोम को। साधारण भाषा में हम उसे ही मूर्ति या प्रतिमा कहते हैं। राजीव मल्होत्रा जी ने Sanskrit Non Translatables में बहुत अच्छा विवरण दिया है। प्रतिमा या विग्रह का अंग्रेजी अनुवाद नहीं हो सकता। अतः हिंदू मूर्ति पूजक नहीं हैं, वो विग्रह या देवता भाव पूजक है। Hindus are not idol worshippers but are विग्रह worshippers. दोनो में बहुत अंतर है।

it is about the flawed Abrahmic concepts of creator and creation. It is about the Abrahmic hatred towards original pluralistic spiritual ideas. We are conditioned to see ourselves and each other in the role of creator that we tend to forget that creation is an embedded function that goes on with or without our conscious involvement. It is the cause and effect of the interaction what exist and we refer to it as laws of nature Creation is embedded transcendental function it is happening at quantum scale and it is also taking place at collective universal level. We tend to ignore the embedded nature, the embedded function of creation can be understood as the embedded essence of God in everything. Believing and seeing God as a distinct person from the Christian scriptures distinct from the creation is a flawed perception. God expresses himself through his creation there is no single attribute that we can detect or use to describe him that is not a part of the creation or the universe we live in. In fact, our ability to understand the attributes or properties of all tangible and non-tangible things originates from the universe the world that we experience we too are a part of it. It is because men became capable of reasoning and his survival became associated with his reasoning ability and due to the expansion of his cognitive faculties men evolved to become scientific. In the prescientific stage or the observation stage non experimental stage of science he learned to observe remember and corelate natural phenomenon with direct and indirect cause. In his quest to survive he developed an ability and curiosity to observe and understand the natural phenomena and he also postulated and evolved the supernatural, spiritual and religious concepts. It was the evolution of his cognitive and reasoning abilities that gave rise to the evolution of the concept of God, spirituality, afterlife and religion. These new concepts were very helpful in handling different kinds of emotions including both positive and negative emotions that had a direct impact on his behaviors and ability to handle complex situations.

प्रतिमा अर्थात् प्रति + मा अर्थात् ये वो नहीं है। मूर्ति अर्थात् मूर्छ + इति अर्थात् जिसमें मूर्छा हो। प्रतिमा अर्थात् Copy मूर्ति अर्थात् जो जीवित नहीं है। विग्रह अर्थात् "जो अलग हुआ है" आत्मा, परमात्मा का विग्रह है। बूंद, समुद्र का विग्रह है।
