Sorry to say this Dhoni is not the first person to change the mind set of Indian cricket board it starred with Sourav Ganguly. He was the one who told the importance of investing in younger generation.This later was followed by M.S. Dhoni which helped him to create the team that won the 2011 ICC cricket World Cup

Agreed, Ganguly gave youngsters like Dhoni, Yuvi, Zaheer, Nehra, Bhajji, Sehwag, etc. a chance. Dhoni took inspiration from this and then backed the young players he wanted. Rohit Sharma in the 2008 CB Series, Kohli and Raina for the 2011 World Cup, Ashwin Jadeja Dhawan Rohit Bhuvi etc. for the 2013 Champions Trophy. He delivered on all fronts and further carried on Ganguly's legacy. Unfortunately, when Dhoni handed the reign over to Kohli, he got caught up in power and politics, and after he ousted Kumble as a coach in 2017, things slowly took a down turn after 2019.
