I’m sorry but I liked the dress and navy cargos on you. I’m a similar size to you and I’ve learnt to look slimmer you need a waist, that can be achieved with a belt or cut. The legs on the cargos need to be ankle length. When we are roundish we need to make a column. White straight leg linen trousers would look good on you.

Great haul Ĺoved it all. I just returned a dress to M&S so sorry as i really liked it fit everywhere but under the arms I kept thinking if I gathered this or that it would be ok, wear a cardi maybe, but gave myself a talking to, I just wouldn't be comfortable with it, so back it went. I've got some cargo trousers from M&S outlet for a river cruise, they feel so nice , soft, lightweight, not my usual thing but half elastic waist makes them a winner.
