গাজীপুরের বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিব সাফারি পার্কে পাঁচ হাজারের বেশি বন্য প্রাণীর রক্ষণাবেক্ষণে রয়েছে মাত্র ২৮ জন কর্মী। পর্যাপ্ত নিরাপত্তা সরঞ্জাম না থাকায় অহরহ দুর্ঘটনার মুখে পড়তে হচ্ছে তাদের। এতে ব্যহত হচ্ছে পার্কের প্রাণী রক্ষণাবেক্ষণের কাজ। সঙ্কট সমাধানে দ্রুত কার্যকরী পদক্ষেপ নেয়ার আশ্বাস দিয়েছেন বন, পরিবেশ ও জলবায়ুমন্ত্রী মো. শাহাব উদ্দিন।
