삼달과 용필의 재회로 새로운 짝꿍의 역사를 예고한 가운데, 어릴 적부터 이어 온 두 사람의 인연과 추억을 닮은 OST Part.1 '단발머리 - 도겸 (SEVENTEEN)'이 공개되었다.
'단발머리'는 1980년대 감성을 대변하는 조용필의 명곡 중의 하나로 원곡의 감성을 유지하면서도 극에 맞게 청량한 사운드를 더해 도겸만의 감미로운 목소리로 재해석하여 또 다른 분위기를 선사하였다. 특히, 1화 오프닝을 비롯한 주요 장면에 등장해 뜨거운 반응을 불러 모았으며, 극의 전반적인 분위기와 감정선을 끌어올렸다.
미니 11집 [SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN]으로 빌보드 200 차트에 4주 연속 차트인하며 음반 판매량 역시 500만 장을 넘겨 K-팝 아티스트 역대 초동 1위에 올라 위상을 견고히 하고 세븐틴. 대체 불가 K-팝 최고 그룹 세븐틴의 메인보컬 도겸은 탄탄한 가창력과 특색있는 음색으로 다수의 커버 콘텐츠와 OST를 통해 무궁무진한 음악적 스펙트럼을 보여주었던 만큼 이번 '단발머리'에서도 독보적인 도겸만의 음악 색깔을 확인해 볼 수 있다.
웰컴투 삼달리 OST Part.1 '단발머리'는 규현의 '내 마음이 움찔했던 순간'을 비롯해 허각 '물론', 테이 '모놀로그(Monologue)' 등을 편곡해 최근 가요계에 리메이크 열풍을 이끈 작곡가 이기환과 문씨의 협업으로 완성되었으며, 제주에서 순수했던 어린 시절부터 다시 제주에서 만나 펼쳐지는 두 사람의 케미스트리를 더욱 풍성하게 만들어 줄 예정이다.
