'이별후회'는 미니멀한 편곡 속 아련한 피아노 반주 위에 부드러운 김나영의 보이스로 이별에 대한 후회를 상대방에게 이야기하는 듯 한 멜로디와 가사가 인상적인 곡으로, 드라마 3화 최웅과 국연수의 이별장면과, 3화 에필로그 장면에서 이별의 아픔을 남몰래 참아왔던 국연수가 울음을 터뜨리는 장면에 삽입되어 시청자들의 과몰입을 유발했다.
따뜻하고 힘있는 보이스와 호소력 짙은 표현력으로 많은 이별 곡들을 히트시키며 ‘프로이별러’라고 불리우는 김나영은 최근 3년만의 정규앨범 ‘me’를 발표하여 꾸준한 음악활동을 이어가고 있으며, 최근 SBS ‘더 리슨 : 바람이 분다’에 출연해 그간 보지 못한 매력을 선보였다.

It was Yeonsoo's pride that told her she could live well without Ung, and it was Ung's prejudice that Yeonsoo lived well without him. This song reminds me of the scene where Ung calls out Yeonsoo's name two times. The pain, the familiarity and comfort from his voice made me tear up. They're both hurting and I hope they talk it out. I really want Yeonsoo to scream and cry out all her hardships to Ung. Because of her pride, i think she thought that her hardship can prevent Choi Ung from the best future ( she witnessed Choi Ung was refusing the teacher's recommendation for studying abroad because he wanted to stay with her). Furthermore, Choi Ung also makes her out of the present and that leads her feel more painful when she has to face to the present with all uncle's debt and her grand mother's bill.

I’m a huge fan of kdrama but ever since I became a college student, there aren’t many kdramas that got my attention in 2021 compared to before (although there are lots of famous/trending kdramas like True Beauty, Hospital Playlist, Penthouse, etc.). I’ve probably watched like 6 kdramas in 2021 and ‘Our Beloved Summer’ is the best one! Kdramas these days are not as interesting as the ones released in 2016 or before that :( I’m into romantic comedy/comedy or childhood/teen friendship genre of kdrama, and thankfully this one has both! It’s more fun and intriguing because of the dynamic relationship between two people that used to date. The writer of OBS did an amazing job at bringing all the characters into life, so are the actors of the drama :)
