A THEORY ABOUT THE MV. I asked my male friend (the psyche student and non-kpop fan) again about the MV. And after seeing it, he asked me, “Is the group disbanding or getting a new member or something?” Again I was shocked. Technically, NUEST_W is disbanding, but they are gaining back a member. Here’s his reasons: The ticking tattoo compass meant that they need to find something or someone. (Minhyunnie, where you at?) He found it weird that the compass all pointed to North. (I did not tell him that the North represented NU'EST in their compass logo.) That happy smile in that kid (JR) after sticking something meant he was happy about being complete. The wet/dripping wall in a room where the pretty boy (that’s how he calls Ren) is meant that the negativity about them is being washed away. That guy who went out before their sexy dance, it could indicate going home or leaving to find something because his compass watch ticked after he stepped outside. But, it is weird that it pointed to NE. I said it was probably because of their names. And he said, "Or it could mean 2:35 or something. (I was shook. NU'ESTw will only last for about 2 years at the most. While the other hand is pointing at Minhyun's position in the NU'EST compass.) The cool guy with the sword meant that he is aware that they have a fight coming. He also said that it was weird that he moved around a statue that is always visible in the MV. And, at the foot of the statue, there are compasses pointing to the statue or north again. It was like saying the time to find the statue or the man is near, but a new fight is also near. The pretty boy is worried of the time when he finds what they are looking for, assuming that he is holding a compass. He is aware that emotions would be flowing when it happens. The little queen, the goat and the broken clock that the cool dude (now JR is cool) whisked in magic, all represent change. The little queen means a new recognition. The white goat meant a good change. The broken clock meant that he is breaking the time to give room for change. The scene in a room with cameras and ticking compasses, meant that everyone is watching him if he could find what was lost. (This amazed me. We are all in a lookout about Minhyunnie’s return.) The mirrors where they could not see their reflection meant that they are aware that they may never see that side of them again. (OT5 forever.) The dissolved mountain and mannequin going into the mirror meant that they would probably face a new mountain when the person represented by the mannequin joins them. The ending scene in the bathtub means that they are back to the reality. But, because they have their eyes closed, it meant that they are enjoying/ are comfortable with the dream while waiting for someone or something until winter falls. (I literally spanked his butt! Minhyun is coming in winter!!!! ) I knew there's a reason he got that 3.8 average!!!
