It's called a 面纱 (miànshā) that just translates to veil. I suppose you can call it traditional. It's typically worn with hanfu which literally just means the traditional clothes worn by Chinese of Han descent. If you google 面纱, the results are probably going to be of the movie adaptation or book though.
