This video is full of symbolism, and, stuff, but I'm not going to explain it all. It can mean anything to any person in different ways... I guess. So if you're intrested make your own story about it. It does have a plot, some pieces are quite obvious.
In my mind literally every single scene holds it's own meaning. Even the very brief short ones. Every animal represents something else. Most important are the crows, the whales, Richard Parker, the deer and of course, the dragon. Every use of black and white and color. I got so into the whole 'symbolism' thing I nearly lost myself in it and I might've gone ahead of myself but hey, there's no such thing as too much symbolism, right? It makes it re-watch-worthy or something, I dunno.
I'm sure if you know a few movies I used and think about it, it can become more and more clear.
I really wanted to use this song because I saw a HD version of the clip and it inspired me so much I nearly fell out of my chair.
This is for Amy. Because I love her. And it might not be what she expected, But. I know she'll understand what I was trying to portray here most. Since well, it's for her after all and some sort of visual love letter HAHAHA. I used a BUNCH of stuff, but not everything I wanted to use, and one movie I swear I tried downloading it 5 friggin times and it still looked like crap so deal with the bad quality in places, I don't care anymore, it's not about quality but ehh... yeh. The message I guess. Heh. Ehh... that's it.

Whatever you make, whenever you press the start button, from that moment on it'll just hold you in its grip. You're able to feel the song so well and then make us feel it too. This video looks so magic, mystical in some sort of way. The combination of anime and real clips, i'd say it usually makes it worse but here it makes it so, so, so much better. And you're right, the fact that this has so much symbolism in it, will only make me want to watch it more and more. It's amaazzinggg *-*

That quote in the description is so familiar, it's bugging me so much! I don't think I can fully appreciate this video until I've watched it a few more times. It really isn't much of a hassle at all to just reply xD The artist is 'Woodkid' and the song is 'I love you', you should check out some of his other songs too, he's one of my fav artists! And I remembered I even speeded up this song a bit so it wouldn't get copyrighted but they got to it anyway... >_

This is what I love about your videos, you take the visual medium and the medium of music and combine them so masterfully that it makes something new and better than either medium by itself. I have watched this at least five times now >_> What is that animation with the moose from? I've tried searching for it but "animated moose girl" isn't giving the best results XD
