Hey Krystal, what form-factor (i.e. 14" or 16") will become your daily driver here? Personally, I really like the new 2021 laptops because Apple has finally started putting function over form and I get paid to develop software. Thus, time is money here. For almost 8years, I have been using a late 2013 15" MacBook with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD and I'm upgrading to the same spec (i.e. 16" with 64 GB Ram and 4 TB SSD) as you presented in the video. Love the video and please do keep them coming.

Thanks so much for this informative video. I need some advice still... I am a graphic designer, work mostly on 2D, no animation but I work on large files on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. I have ordered the new 16 Inch Macbook Pro with M1 Max processor, 32 GB Ram and 1TB SSD. Now after doing more research I am thinking about exchanging to the M1 Pro processor with 32 GB Ram as well and put that $400 difference into 2 TB SSD. Any advice? Thank you!

If you want to move forward with your MacBook Pro for years to come, my advice is as follows: M1 Max MacBook Pro 16" with 64GB RAM and 2TB storage. And in the color silver because it contrasts better with the all-black magic keyboard. And wait for Black Friday for a hefty discount on your purchase.

So I’m curious what Apple does with the review units once they’re returned? I’m trying to grow my channel and am shooting content in 4K but am still working on my 2014 MacBook Pro so I’m not able to render or export the footage in 4K and am curious to know whether or not they have any sort of donation program for content creators? I have a 2019 16” and the only issue I would find is to use it on an airplane tray table. It doesn’t feel THAT impractical from my pov.

Gabby’s 2019 machine looks way more modern than your 2021 upgraded version, except for the ProMotion 120hz, Gabby would definitely acknowledge it’s your machine’s most significant advantage.

At last a true Apple MacBook Pro M1 Pro/M1 Max for professionals. Normals like me if they need a laptop can do just fine with the Apple MacBook Air M1. For me if I needed a laptop would go with 16GB shared memory (hate swap), and 1TB storage. Software will catch up fast so you can do your job even faster.

Nice unboxing, next time also do more views on the screen and keyboard - as it was only glimpse, and I was surprised to see the new design. Like little zoom could be too. And apple should put also usb ports as why they so cheap with expensive machines then ppl will still have to connect dongles to be able to put flash stick inside.

The previous version definitely looks way better design wise, if only they also came with the smaller bezels, ports and physical function keys. With that said, I understand why they went for a heftier design, putting performance and power over prioritizing a slim profile. I do wish the shape of the new one was different though, it just looks clunky

Personally, as a Apple m1 Macbook Air user I'm glad I didn't buy this. Totally not worth the money. The notch, the thickness, and price tag are huge step backwards.

@@sa34w I'm sorry. No matter how hard I try. The notch huge deal breaker for me. Its like birdshit on a car window. Just ruins your entire experience. The M1 Macbook Air is good enough for like 95% of users including most creator professionals and is much cheaper. Hope this helps.
