Today's video is a tank guide to the Era 1 Western Alliance Heavy Tank, the M103A1.
The M103A1 leads on from the T34 Heavy, and leads to the M103A2.
In today's video I tell you everything you need to know about this tank. I compare it to its competitors, show you my equipment and commander setup, as well as showing you the armour profile.
To finish the video, I commentate over four gameplays, to demonstrate how this tank performs on the battlefield.

Closing down on 1600 games on console, and first marked my batchat, Jaguar black and bandit. Starting all lines now, after economy rebalance, its PERFECT for me, new player who wants to play cold war mostly. Cheers m8

Good video. An easy comparison as M103A1 is 1 of 5 Era 1 heavy tanks, and only 1 of 2 tech tree heavies. Would like to see more heavy tanks in Era 1 simply to have a different play style.

The continental is good, fast reload but is let down by lack of alpha damage. Although I've taken out m103A1s with the continental

I much prefer the FV201/T95E1 myself, but I think the M103A1 is the best Era 1 Heavy Tank for the majority of the playerbase. Personally, I like that the FV201/T95E1 is easier to use hull down and the DPM can savage the M103A1 if the player knows where to shoot. Thanks for the support :)

I've been playing my M103 A1 for about a year or so & I'm convinced it's had it's armour stealth nerfed. All of a sudden it's mantlet became pennable with standard ammo!

I feel like it is easier to penetrate than when I first came up against this tank as well, but it's probably coincidence lol. I like the boat shaped hull when you raise it, it throws people off and you can bounce some pretty funny shots. Thanks as always mate :)

I'll be honest, the M103A1 is overpowered and here's why: 1. It is highly mobile for such a heavy tank with decent traverse and reverse making medium counterparts like the M48A5 and Centurion 5/1 less relevant 2. It has on par DPM with its medium counter parts despite having 60 extra alpha damage 3. It has very good gun handling for the damage it puts out and handles better than its medium counter parts (except T95E3) 4. It has 10 degrees of gun depression making its cupola nearly impossible to hit meaning your small window of dealing damage against it will most likely result in a ricochet and you taking 450 alpha in return on a ridge-line The fact the M103A1's competition is the WZ111 and Centennial is laughable and even the T34 (also overpowered) is better than those despite being mid tier

@@itsrobbyrhino3201 Only problem with DPM is that it's situational compared to alpha, but to be honest. The M103 is boring asf to play for more than 3 games. Keep up the content chief

I have the A1, T34 and WZ only. And the wz needs some buffs, it's so damned terrible. You either try and improve the gun with equipment and have trash mobility or improve mobility and have to use one of the worst guns in cold war hands down. So sad 😢.

Now that it is fully upgraded, it isn't the worst, but I don't enjoy playing it. It's definitely a tank that requires a little patience and map awareness. Now that I have it fully upgraded, I find it ok, but I don't like the playstyle and I don't feel like I am as competitive than in some other tanks. I am looking forward to getting to the next tank! Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for your support :)
