With my Ingersoll-Rand weighted power sockets, my m12 gen 3 driver busted CV shaft nuts loose that were known to be previously torqued to 250 lb-ft. People sleep on the m12 stuff but they are sine powerful little tools

Impact driver not impact wrench. Right tool for the right job.

@@powertoolinnovations quite literally tried this earlier today and had to swap to my m18 fuel 3/8. my m12 fuel 1/4 with a fully charged high output 5.0 couldn’t budge the lugnuts on my 2000 Silverado at all.

@@dailysunday3028the new stubby is rated at 550 ft-lbs. I might have to pick one up to test it out.

My favorite impact. I grab that over my m18 gen4 almost everytime. Haven't tried it on lugs tho lol

@powertoolinnovations I grab my m12 stubbie for those still. It's so similar to the m18 torque that I just reach for the smaller one

You can use it but it's not the best tool for lugnuts an impact wrench would be better but if this is all you got it will do the job

Hopefully you don't have your aluminum wheels torqued to 97 ft. Lbs. Should be around 65 ft. Lbs.
