M172 Secure Interface - Mx.x Configuration solution EcoStruxure Secure Connect

I've been watching your videos, and they have been extremely helpful. I have some questions about having the secure interface and the hmi connected to a tm172pbg42ri. Is there some way that I can have the secure interface and the remote hmi to read and use the variables from a tm172PBG42RI. I'm trying to set up an email alarm system that sends an email anytime an alarm goes off. I'm also having a problem with my remote hmi and how it uses an enum I have set up for an OffOnAuto button. Is there any way that you can shed some light on this?
