The Chinese member turns into a teacher to help his bandmates get better acquainted with his native language.

The individual scores will be calculated based on the number of views and likes they get on their videos!
New episodes of “Pentagon Maker,” Korea’s first interactive idol making program, are posted every Monday and Tuesday at midnight and aired on Mnet at 11 PM every Tuesday!

Asian Duck all Chinese have a different accent when it comes to speaking madarin because they usually have a regional language they learn first. Am I wrong?

Ricardo Ramirez not everyone learns their regional dialect but since yan an is from shanghai (in which shanghainese is more commonly spoken) now that I think about it he does have a Shanghai accent

I'm Chinese-American, but from the time I've spent in China, I've found that almost no one speaks "standard" Mandarin unless they're trained to do so or just pick it up. My family is also from Shanghai and Yan An sounds like a typical Shanghai person speaking Mandarin, haha. Hopefully one day we'll hear Yan An bust out some Shanghai dialect, if he ever learned it, but it seems like most younger people these days don't speak it.

WinterLake25 very true, I'm also Chinese-American but I live in Hong Kong. In HK, we don't really speak Mandarin that much and only speak Cantonese dialect and English. My grandma is Shanghainese so I know a little Shanghai dialect (and i'm really young mind you) My grandma likes to ramble about how almost no kids speak dialects in general nowadays, judging from the fact my uncle went to Guangzhou and asked a kid if she knew Cantonese and she said "That's a dialect, I don't speak dialect".
