The biggest question is did they Rwanda and Uganda forget about the great betrayal, did the Banyamulenge Kadoko child soldiers then forget how they marched from Goma to Kinshasa taking town after town from Zaire Mobutu weak demoralized soldiers? The same Kadokos grew up into men trained by Rwandan and Ugandan army fighting is all they knew so who is M23? The nucleus is the same Banyamulenge Kadokos who became men betrayed by Kinshasa backed by Rwanda and Uganda they are now unstoppable. How does a so called rebel army get Surface to Air Missiles (S.A.M) ? We all know who supports them yet the African Union is mum about this, since 1961’s siege of Jadottville now Likasi of UN forces it’s rinse and repeat of the same scenario only different location Goma X2 UN forces surrounded again with a weak SADC force of South Africa being the highlight, our condolences to the families of the deceased gallant soldiers who didn’t know what they were getting into, Bangui under Jacob Zuma is still fresh in our memory now Ramaphosa DRC.

He wanted to run the country without consulting his masters and Rwanda wanted more of its people in both the army and government (the DRC Military chief was Rwandan at the time). M23 is solely asking for integration into the Congolese military, that was a part of the peace agreement but the government of the DRC broke their promise,they are Congolese! There are many groups operating in the eastern DRC with various motives☝🏾there are terrorist groups operating in Kivu that want to ELIMINATE Congolese Tutsi’s,some of these terrorist groups even intend on invading Rwanda. Rwanda has good governance and the Rwandese people overwhelmingly support their leadership☝🏾since when has the UN become a trusted “friend”?,,,,a source of reliable information? Have people not forgotten that UN soldiers were implicated in committing “crimes against humanity” in Kivu through RAPE!!! Did you forget that? You are looking at the consequences today but the world has failed, including UN to address the root causes of the conflict. Instead of reporting on war and who is involved, understand the the cause and suggest solutions. Before you accuse Rwanda, what have you done to protect Congolese kinyarwanda speaking community and Hema people of DRC who have been massacred? Has UN bothered to get into the origin of the conflict, NO!! I think some of us need to have some basic skills in conflict management other than escalating the conflict because of their own interest. The international community has shielded FDRL since 1994, these are the people who committed genocide against the Tutsi in Rwanda, and they are the same people killing Tutsi Congolese who speak kinyarwanda!! Other than condemning Rwanda and others and talking of humanitarian humanitarian humanitarian, understand that Congolese kinyarwanda speaking people and others who are targeted are humans. Having said this, I don't support wars but M23 and partners are fighting for their rights. If you have no support for them to co-exsit, leave them.

Little history lesson Banyamulenge who claim Tutsi Congolese heritage helped the Kabila’s to power via Rwandan, Ugandan army help after reaching Kinshasa Kabila thanked them, told them to leave DRC after late Dictator Mobutu fled . Then enter SADC (Zimbabwean, Angolan and Namibian forces)intervention forces Zimbabwe ( Had 10 000 troops stationed in the DRC)who used special forces, air support to push out the Rwandan and Ugandan army backed rebels. The rebels became the RCD Goma faction after a split within the rebel group as one was RCD Kisangani the same guys grew up to be called M23 they were small boys called Banyamulenge Kadoko child soldiers then now they’ve grown into seasoned soldiers lived by the gun, died by the gun so remember the debt owed for removing Mobutu plus the minerals in eastern Congo oh and Rwanda and Uganda fought a war in Kisangani land that is not theirs it’s embarrassing to fight in someone’s home. So DRC or Zaire under Mobutu, my question is where is the African Unions support they are quiet, weak and useless , UN has struggled to maintain peace in Congo since 1960 to now as Africans we can’t even solve our problems.
