Puma is way better, it may not have a 50 cal or a stabilizer but its armor is so thin, rounds will overpen and make you a bit more survivable. Chaffes armor wont overpen rounds, everything will fuse and kill you. (laughs in British /french main)

its: better postpen + greater gunhandling vs faster firerate + superior mobility the rest of the differences are minimal. puma is better at doing light tank things(capping, scouting, flanking), but m24 is much more versatile and can deal with unexpected situations more easily. also gaijin logic: 1943 armored car has all around superior mobility compared to 1980+ wheeled vehicles.

Well, it is basically just an armoured digger chassis (I think it's a CAT or a JCB) It's not going to stop .50 cals but if you are fighting rebels that don't have anything better than a rifle, the Ratel is amazing. Plus the speed irl is very good for how big it is (not really portrayed in WT very well) and no armour best armour In game the Ratel 20 is a beast. Break barrels and tracks with the 20mm and then go for the kill with Milans. Seeing a Tiger 2 try to run away as you fire an ATGM at them is the funniest thing ever

@Fiber-Snoop unironically, play Naval. Doesn't matter what tier. You get so much money from it (especially if you have premium) Or play top tier air. If you are trying to grind out Britain, I'd recommend the Sea Harrier FRS.1 or the Phantom 2 UK. It's a bit of a learning curve (and it'll cost you money irl) but it's a good way to get SL quickly Also, I'd be more than happy to help you grind. 6.7 is a very good BR for Britain, so I quite like playing it

The chaffee has a way more powerful gun post-penetration with over twice the explosive mass in the APHE round. This makes a huge difference since the post-pen damage usually one-shots basically everything with the chaffee while puma mostly requires multiple shots.

I know there are many here that think the Puma is better tho in my opinion the chaffee is better (at least at its br). The M24 actually has great survivability, at least in my experience you often tank shots with only one vital crew member getting knocked out which leaves you to being able to retreat or to fire back, while the Puma can easily 50 Cal'ed. In the firepower department the chaffee is sulreme as well since it has much more explosive filler, hence its more likely to one shot enemies which gives you a strategic advantage and doesn't let others sneak up on you. The stabilizer also helps massively with getting your shot off first. And let's be real, the higher penetration at ranges is in most cases useless because low tier light tanks are usually used at close ranges and at long ranges it's easier to just scout the enemy and make a run for in.

The gun stabilizer of the M24 works up to 24 km/h. This is more than high enough to work in normal gameplay. It is specifically useful when stopping suddenly to take a shot.

The Chaffee .50 can shred any Pumas it comes across. When I used to play the SARC 6pdr Pumas would always beat me to the points but I could take on up to 3 of them with just the .50.

M24 is more versetile, while the PUMA works better in flanking and longer ranges. But in my oppinion the PUMA is better because the M24 armor is practicly useless against Panzer 4 and Panzer 3, and are too slow to get into position in time. While the PUMA can capture a point faster and get into possition verry early in a match.

Puma, it can kill an Abram’s (I think Chaffee can also kill Abram’s idk) is faster better at long ranges so you don’t get detected as much and is German so better at flanking which these flankers are specifically built for

Straight up the chaffee is better massively better, you're on tracks so you have better turning and off-road performance, your gun is stabalized and no you wehraboos the 50 is not better then the 75, and finally with all the super small 37s 50s and early 57s they love to bounce for no reason so your armor is actually decent
