I see no need for them to nerf or adjust weapons like mirage. What they need to do is stop making zone dedicated weapons and have bonuses that are on the same scale. My assumption is that over the years thought the coding has gone through so many teams and layered over another that its just too difficult to add new ones and rather its probably just easier to copy and paste old bonuses. Cause thats all i see

5:08 Wanted has the people willing to carry you to get the weapons and gear you need it's basically the only guild I have been in, never be afraid to ask for help or ask questions.

Also, mirage weapons have about x9 multiplier for 1st and 3rd boss of Tomb of the Nine Gods. So the 75k item lvl requirement is not universal, maybe there are other dungeons or content where this happens but ToNG is the only one i've noticed.

@Aragon- Looking at your tables, perfect weapons (with stats) seems better than solarium and stormforged for Random Queues and Underdark and even at wildspace, but you almost did not comment about them during video. I did not understand the reason. Could you make this point clearer? BTW, what do you mean when you say perfect (with stats) and perfect (not using stats)? TY for your attention.

perfect (with stats) means making use of the 5% crit strike and crit sev. without is not using the stats, when you are already maxed out at 90% So perfect weapons are only good in single target cause they take 20s to get the stacks and only if you make use of the stats. most endgame builds will get 90% in all stats and then it is best to use a weapon set that increases your damage or deals damage for you like mirage

I think it would be really cool if they started unbinding previous mod gear. Right now you should be able to farm mtos gear and sell it. That would definitely help newer players gear up that are not getting invited to master content

@@hurstiwursti right but how many people quit because the previous mods gear is irrelevant? Play farm their gear a new mod comes out and the stuff they're wearing is irrelevant. I think the marketplace would balance itself out, 100% you should be able to farm currency buy a chess piece from menzo or spider and on the auction house for 1.5 million. If you look at posts made by average new players, they all feel like they're being left behind every mod

@@BakunLT im still catching up and will be catching up for years. This game isn't about beeing bored out after reaching BiS 2 weeks after the new modules come out, its about the grind. People leave because they either don't want to play a grindy game or because endgame gets boring once you are fully geared as there is no need to continue farming. At least that's how i feel it is.

Hey Aragon, In your next meeting with the devs can you ask them to introduce a way for us to maybe upgrade the older weapon sets? Like upgrading the Pioneer or Chult or Sunset weapons to 1500 IL in the workshop. The game is so grindy as it is I wouldnt mind grinding to upgrade the old sets.

I've had people look at my stormforged weapons and think im a noob. Did the Fire Castle quest with the wee fire engine at the end (hate that quest) I had 140M dps and the next person had 30M dps. I've got the Mirage weapons, but i rock my Stormforged set 99% of the time. Got to the 4th milestone and was about to buy the 2450 set from MoonV area, but its only the side arm you can get at 4th. Grrrrr.

I'm not sure what class you play but the Mirage weapons do about 3x the amount of damage for me than the Stormforged weapons. In game I always tell other Warlocks I see that have low DPS and are using Stormforged to switch to Mirage if they have them. It could just be my build but for me the Stormforged weapons are terrible compared to the Mirage set.

@ChuckRitt LoL, did you watch the clip and/or read my comment? Clearly not. I play a ranger, I lead virtually every lobby (except when with my Cobra Guild/Alliance in trials, as we've got some beasts in here).

Not great these days, they miss base damage and in coordinated groups, you may very well have tanks and healers on them already, so switching yourself to gain just +2% is not worth, even if everyone uses it, it's still less damage. Only benefit then is damage resist

Aragon, I wish you could look at my Warlock and figure out why Mirage weapons work so much better than everything else for me. They do like 3x the amount of damage that the Stormforged weapons do for me. They are really terrible. Mirage is by far the most powerful weapons in all content in my case.

He said if ur not min maxing and trying to perfectly time and plan everything then mirage weapons will do the best by possibly 30%. So id say 98% of players should just use mirage in most group content.

if you have a min-max build and time everything perfectly damage buff weapons are better than mirage. For underdark content you want to use Weaver or Stormforged if not using Mirage. Underdark is the only 75k IL+ content outside of wildspace

How do you time the clones to come out during arti calls? In all end-game content, it's all about those calls every 60+ seconds. Since the clones come out for 10s then disappear for 20s, wouldn't they tend to only have a 33% chance to be there during your huge arti dmg periods? Thanks!

you can hold back on using encounters until the artifact call. you get them at the start of the fight, then at 30s and then at 60s. perfect for the next artifact call

@@VKK__583lol I quit in mod 4 around 2014, that was because after mod 1 sharandar at release date, mod 2 dread ring and mod 3 ice wind dale. all expansions with a bunch of predatory gameplay mechanics I realized I had to call it quit or else it would be a chore or a job. So I stopped playing, came back in the beginning of 2023 and only trade for a year straight, now I can get to end game without paying for any resources or doing any insane mindless grinding. So the game is great now lol. Best way to play neverwinter is to not play at all, and use the Zax zen exchange to make profits so if you decide to play seriously you will have resources

All these weapons are ridiculous. What a waste of developer resources. Too many weapons and none designed for all content. We should not be changing out weapons 2-3x for 1 dungeon completion. Too many restrictions about how and where the weapons work the best. It is a confusing mess to the average player. I see the majority of players walking around with the advanced solarium and those weapons in the hands of a mid tier player just suck so bad. This video won't help. People will still be confused and they will still use the wrong weapons in content. Master crafted weapons are the best to get completions I just want to get back to party content with crafted weapons but that won't happen.
