Nice rugged plane. Im surprised this machine is not in more widespread use. Ideal for Alaska. The cockpit looks very cluttered and outdated though and needs major modernizing. Two or 3 big Garmin displays, neaten up all those switches. A leftover of its Antonov roots I guess.

The Cessna Caravan is more practical in Alaska due to fuel prices.

OMG: Sorry but this is not a f.... Sikorsky !!! It is a plane (based on AN-28) but developed and built in Poland by the PZL Mielec, an old polish airplain and helicopter manufacturer and not by Sikorsky.

Don't be offended: it is marketed as the Sikorsky M 28, by Sikorsky, which in turn belongs to Lockheed-Martin. www.lockheedmartin.com/en-us/products/commercial-aircraft.html

I’m not offended. Maybe it is marketed as Sikorsky, but only in America, probably for the USA clientele. In Europe, Afrika and everywhere else on the world it is known as „PZL M28“. The Marketing in the USA doesn‘t change the facts: It is a Polish plane, developed and built in Mielec (Poland). BTW: You can also see it as a Polish plane everywhere on the Internet, except here and on the Sikorsky marketing site for the USA clientel.

Is it important PZL to design Sikorski bought a factory and has the right to use his name proves it only so much that it's a good project and Sikorski is not afraid to use his brand to promote the unit
