He and Sami died in the Casket Match to give Catrina her life force back. Mil Muertes killed Catrina and Aerostar took her amulet and went to the other realm to retrieve Fenix and Sami. Like my voodoo classes in University taught me tho "Sometimes dead is better. You bring someone back it doesn't mean they'll be the same as they were when they went in." So he and Callihan are basically zombies. Reanimated corpses.

Fenix does the best cutters man the way he spins mid air and catches his opponent. He also does the best running kicks to a cornered opponent. The best corkscrew planchas where he spins 1000 degrees or something. He is just the best. And now he has a sick new finisher.
