@@nickmontsept10 that's where you were wrong, we 90's kids were still able to experience the 70's and 80's through music and shows because during the 90's, all the radio stations were still constantly playing 70's and 80's music and the shows from the 70's and 80's were still being aired on mainstream channels on TV. I remember watching Bruce Lee's 70's movies in the 90's. We still used casset tapes, VHS, we still had that shoulder pads, mom jeans and etc. So, yeah we 90's kids somehow lived the 70's-80's era although we weren't alived during those era. We 90's kids had interactions and not obsessed with gadgets. That's why we 90's kids were able to relive 70's-80's. We 90's kids are better than you Gen Zs since we've experienced and explored through different times old and new whereas you Gen Zs only know the current times. Guess what, we 90's kids can even guess a lot of songs from the 50's-60's either. If you Gen Z were to ask to guess songs from the 90's, I'm pretty sure you can't guess them and most of you don't know songs from the 90's, and just say "I haven't heard this song in whole life". However, if we 90's kids were to ask to guess song from the 80's, I can assure you we can guess a lot of songs and even name artists from the 80's. You are just technology reliant

The Mexican VHS release for the first movie had this music vid, a BK add for the toys, the pokemon cereal comercial, a trailer for pokemon Gold and Silver, an intro by prof. Oak, then the Pikachu's vacation short AND THEN the actual first movie 2 hours of Pokemon conntent. I loved it, I used to watch it at least once a month :')

I remember this being on the original Pokémon movie on VHS after renting it back in the 90s and then I remember when I re-watched it with my own VHS tape that I have from both my mother and my father as both got me copies of it and even buying an extra copy from a thrift store years ago But I can’t remember any of them having this music video on it, which was always weird because at the beginning of the film, they always advertise You can watch this after the movie was done. But none of the copies I had ever played it.

I know that Pokemon did a basic 90's animated movie move and just licensed a bunch of popular songs to include in the movies soundtrack (which now that I think about it, the only actual songs in the movie, not counting the 2 or 3 from the mini movie "Pikachu's vacation" at the beginning before the actual movie, are literally the theme song, "Brother My Brother" and then the ending theme, "Don't Say You Love Me" literally never plays during the movie). But I always laugh at the implication in the music video that some guy who's in his like, early 20s, tries to make a move on a girl while watching "The First Pokemon Movie", even trying to put his arm around her during the first fight between Mew and Mewtwo, what a scene to try that move at. The thought of a couple having relationship problems whilst watching the Pokemon movie, while at the same time, everyone else is having a Kumbaya style, Popcorn rain dance party as Ash is basically dying in the movie, all happening at a drive-in, is hilarious to me, and I think about it a lot. Thank you for this gift.

The 90s were peak times that children were treated like the most valuable consumer. We had everything "PEAK" from child gambling (chuck e cheese)/putput/arcade/pizza restaurants. Fast food toys that were legit shows from Disney to power rangers and so on. The toys, action figures/hot wheels/barbies/video game Renaissance from super Nintendo to game cube and Playstation 2. Tv shows and channels that were solely designed to keep us engaged and excited. Wacky foods and wacky commercials. After the dotcom bubble and the 2001 terrorist attack everything changed and slowly got a bit serious, then 2008 happened when most of us 90s babies were entering the workforce as teens and young adults. What a time to be alive.
