I agree. The audio.sound system is remarkably good, with spatial placement of instruments (imagery) well to the left and right of the laptop. The frequency response is also rremarkably good when you really can't see or identify the source of the sound. This was perhaps the most unexpected feature of this MBP compared to earlier mac laptops.

I too have this computer and found that using the black wallpaper that is on the box hides the notch without using third party notch hider.

I bought the M2 Pro (16GB Ram, 1TB Storage) a couple of months ago mainly for editing 4K60 10-bit footage on Premiere Pro. I regret not buying the M2 Max as I struggle a lot with playback lag.

I saw in your video and others how the port designs are more rounded to prevent chipping. I wonder if the silver also has that special anodization to prevent fingerprints

I have also ordered the baseline m3 max 14 inch silver, just cause that color looks classic and so clean 😊 Space black may chip or minor fingerprints even after anodization. Also this is my first MacBook as well after using intel for years.

What country are you from? It depends on your budget. I did my bachelor’s in computers science using a Chinese laptop for $200, but if you have money for a MacBook it is worth it. Remember the better your computer the faster you can complete different types of tasks. Even if it’s small gains, it adds up and you save a lot of time at uni

Regardless the M2 or M3 processor, anything less than 32GB you're gonna struggle. You need 64GB up for decent 3D work and Rendering. I have a 128GB on a RTX4090 and sometimes I feel it is not enough and I can't fathom a laptop with less than 64GB for that

I edit all these videos on my laptop with 18GB and I never max out the RAM, I’m editing 6k 10bit video plus I usually have dual screens hooked up to it with other applications open and I’ve not had a problem. I don’t 3D render or do anything intense with graphics so yeah if you wanna do anything like that I think you’re right. It depends what people will be doing on it tbh
