Loving this channel because its not like all the crazy automotive channels out there. Actually nice attainable mods to follow along with!

I appreciate that! Staying relatable is something I am always focused on. Just an average joe car enthusiast like everyone else!

Might I suggest some sliplo under the front lip to help with scraping when you do scrape
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
I did consider picking one of those up actually. However, my only gripe with it is that it actually lowers the lip a tad. Because of this, it may catch on something that otherwise wouldn't if it wasn't there.

Looks good 👍🏼 I currently have the same lip, from all the lips I have used over the years this is my fav. It's the perfect aggressiveness but not too low to be annoying.

Glad to hear! Yes, that is my same mindset on it. Should be interesting once I get the kw’s on haha.

@@Autofreakgarage I actually just installed the H&R HAS kit on my car this week still need to dial in the ride height and get an alignment but all good so far I have the edc system also and didn't want to lose that function with coilovers but it's just a daily so far so good! Installs not bad should be the same for the KW

Amazing video!!! What made you decide to do sleeve overs vs coilovers?
@Autofreakgarage Жыл бұрын
Wanted to keep the edc and keep it simple for now. Eventually will be moving to some proper kw v3’s or ohlins with edc.

Hey, I had a 2017 wrx sti and the transmission had to be replaced. Then a few months ago the engine died. This was a stock car with 67k miles and I had all the maintenance done and oil changes done on time. I never raced it and used it as a daily driver. Have you ever heard of this happening? I've got the worst luck and still have to pay for the rest of my loan. I loved that car.

Did you buy used?
@christopherclapp6911 Жыл бұрын
@@Autofreakgarage I did buy used with an extended full warranty and used it all. When the engine failed, the warranty just expired. I loved the car, but once the news came back about the engine I just couldn't keep up. I should have done more research and it was an expensive lesson. I saved a lot of money doing my own breaks and rotors thanks to watching your videos on doing that. I'm thankful for your helpful videos. I've got a family of 3 and I am looking for helpful advice on what reliable vehicles are out there as a next purchase. Should I buy new from now on?

Used STI and wrx’s are pretty sketchy unless you know of the previous owner. For other cars, buying used is a bit less stressful.
