I did the exact same thing, I stayed on Vanguard for another year while MWII slowly died. Then MWIII came out and it felt like home. I even maxed out the Battle Pass before S1 started. I still think people was too harsh on Vanguard. The game was actually fun (compared to MWII).

I enjoyed the option of tactical and blitz. Made for some variety on each map. Only played on a free weekend though. Haven’t bought cod since 2019, looking forward to BO6 🤞

I honestly think MW2 is the worse call of duty game. They asked the community what we want in the game in the beta then released the complete opposite. It was the slowest boots on the game and the challenges even promoted camping so people really didn't move and it wasn't fun at all
