Alright, Mike. Good game 👍 With your marshmallow bullets 😂 What do you think of it? The missing peak mode and adding Mid seems a bit ominous and does suggest optimisation is required. From what I can see and although the M2 is solid, the frame rate almost feels better on the M4, or at least it feels that way when playing. My M4 does heat up, although, I don’t think as much as the M2. Maybe that’s the reason for the solid frame rate? That said, I’m not sure that they both look the same on High. From memory the M2 would seem to be slightly better with the graphics quality. Again, I’m not sure as I’ve not done a side by side but the aliasing seems to look different, with maybe the M2 being better. It almost feels as if the M2 is slightly higher resolution. I’ll have to do a proper test. Anyway, I’m not noticing a huge difference yet against the M2. In fact, I’m hard pushed to say that there’s any difference at all, at least in general use. I love the M4. Dave, I'm just happy WZM worked on launch day. If the only bug, was Peak was missing, I'll take it. However Mid seems like a deliberate change for the M4. I confirmed this morning Mid is not on the M2. They really should add Mid to the M1 so I can test it before I trade it in. What I'm hoping is they're testing Mid on the M4 and it will trickle down. Or they're optimizing the heck out of Peak and will re-enable it later(maybe use that neural engine for upscaling). I don't notice a fidelity difference between High on the M2 and M4. The problem is the iPads use really good antialiasing. They hide their pixel edges very well. On a cursory glance I'm not noticing anything. If I get bored I can pull out my Atomos SSD and compare the exfil animations on my Rebirth wins. However Mid I do notice a difference. I'm not 100%, but it does look like a slightly lower render res. I noticed on the exfil animation for Rebirth when the helicopter flies over the buildings and you can see more pixel crawl on the antennas when set to Mid. Also when self-reviving the post processing blur gets very pixelated. When I did this recording in Un-Capped I noticed the edges of my M4 were warm. My M2 doesn't do that. That tells me the M4 has a superior cooling solution. It's actually transferring the heat to the whole chassis.

I just loaded it up and did a test game on Rebirth on High Un-Capped. No issues.
