Fantastic price. Sounds like they offer good support too. That's an amazing deal. You have an absolute beast of a laptop in your hands!

Alright, Kevin. Yes, what a ridiculous price. No one is doing any discounts on the M4 series because they've only just come out and they don't have to discount, so I was a bit freaked out when I seen 10% off. To be honest this kind of swung it for me with the M4 Max MacBook. As I've made my decision to send back the M4 Pro Mac mini, I was on the fence as to what to do but that £400 saving was the clincher for me. No matter if I look at it as a saving or I use the saving to get 3 years of Apple Care+. It helps to soften loss when I come to sell the MacBook. Cheers, Dave.

@@DavidHarry Yeah that's a great price. It's still very expensive, but if you use it for three years, that's £1,200 per year. Much less when you consider the resale value will still be high after three years. Costco offered the base model M4 Mac mini for £570. My membership had expired so it was £585 delivered with two years warranty. That was obviously a much less risky purchase for me given its cost. It will hold its value well or I can repurpose it as a media server or something.

Thanks for the info, I was holding off buying until there were more reviews on performance etc but I saved £280 on an M4 pro Mac mini 64gb 2tb Ssd ,discounts on Apple stuff is so rare that I bit the bullet😊

Hi. Yes, the £400 saving on the MacBook swung it for me too and as you said, you hardly ever see Macs discounted, especially when they've only just come out. Cheers, Dave.

The Pricing Problem Nothing highlights this more than the fact that you can buy a base M4 Mac mini with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage for $599. If you want to upgrade those, your option is to increase the memory to 32GB and the storage to 512GB. If you do, the cost will be $1,199, which is more than double the price of the base model you started with. You could literally buy two base model Mac Minis, have the same amount of memory and storage, and also have $1 left over. I understand memory (and storage, for that matter) don’t work that way, but it highlights how ridiculous the upgrade pricing is. It feels like a pure cash grab from customers, which is the type of thing no company should ever do
