M4 Mac mini Review After 1 Month! Was 256GB a Mistake?

I'f your getting this annoyed by a power light/button move over to widows. I can't believe the amount of reviewers whining about the power button now we got this guy complaining about the power light. Honestly, you have one if not the most affordable powerhouse machines every built.

Did you have any scaling problems with Ultrawide High-Refresh Monitor 34" Curved Monitor 3K 165Hz Display (Stereo SoundBar)? This is the reason I have avoided 1440 displays because I heard that there are problems with scaling. However, your video does not show any issues. The price is very competitive compared to the BENQ, Dell or other Mac compatible monitors. Would you recommend it?

@c.w_ it’s a 2.7K monitor, only 4K monitors have scaling issues. It’s a gaming monitor, if you need extreme color accuracy I wouldn’t recommend it.

Export is encode (GPU) heavy so yes it will be slower.

I have MacBook air m2 8GB Whenever i do editing on filmora and few crome tabs are open It uses 6-8GB swipe memory -- Now My question is Should i go for 16gb ? Or for macmini m4 pro Or mac mini m4 26 gb What would you suggest brother? I also do stock market trading I want to use 3 monitors

The Mac mini 16GB should be enough, and if that’s your workflow the base model should be all you need! Slap on an external SSD and your are done! If you are afraid and want to future proof your machine even more, I would splurge the extra cash and jump for the M4 Pro base model Mac mini. It’s your choice though😅

@ thanks for replying ❤️✨ Currently i have 7850 subscribers - I can add new laptop or macmini after 2.5 year If it can handle 3 years I am more happy By saving good amount I can make some profit on that saved amount 😅 And in 1-2 years when my channel will grow I can spend more Also in coming 2 years We should see dramatic changes in AI driven specs ( just a guess ) In India: Base model is in ₹60,000 And pro is in 150,000 Almost 3 times higher

Ultra core 9 is actually a very good cpu . I bought a laptop with that cpu and was surprised by the performance.

not really true . with some effects , graphics and titles M1 Max will be faster cuz has more Gpu . not only rendering

I showcase a ready to publish 30 min Vlog with lots of effects, graphics and titles… oh and don’t forget about the LOG footage and the LUTS associated with it. Still, the Mac mini didn’t chug or slow down in the timeline while editing. Was only slower in the final export, as expected…

I don’t think so… buying the base model allows people to save lots of money on SSD storage and then fix the issue with cheap and fast external SSDs. In the end it’s all the same thing. Thank you for watching!
